These are not rubber backed. They are a slightly shiny satin-finish fabric. Thick. Well-made. Expensive looking. Blocks light 100%. Does not easily wrinkle. Smooth, satin-y feeling. White backing.

When I purchased these, I could have sworn I’d read that they had back tabs – just the ease and that sleek, perfect look I wanted. No back tabs. My bad.But after I hung them and fooled with all that scrunchy bunchy fonky ponky mess above the curtain rods, they actually look really nice!The curtain feels weighty enough to drape beautifully and keep indoor temps inside, and like garlic to a vampire, extreme (all!) outdoor temps will be kept at bay.These will really work well to pull my room together, I can’t wait til it’s done!And they’re great for blocking out the sun! Because also just like a vampire, I hate the sun and I shriek at the light of day.Oh! They work!
These work pretty well! They are light blocking and room darkening, it’s hard to tell from the photos. They were also easy peasy to put up and look really good. My only objection is the color. They aren’t as pink as I would have liked but I think it’s because the material has to be dark to be light blocking because it almost looks as though there are dark threads throughout the fabric giving it a dark pink hue. If that makes sense. I included 3 photos in 3 different lightings. Otherwise, they work and look cute!

They immediately darkened the space and helped block out a lot of sunshine during the day, making it ideal for glare-free TV watching or sleeping in. The 84-inch length was ideal for my windows, and the black color looked sleek and contemporary. Additionally, they provide a little amount of insulation, which keeps the space cooler during the day and increases seclusion at night.

The price is decent and the quality is super! I bought a few of them before and they are a perfect match to the cover of my sofa bed. The new ones I ordered for my son’s house. Everybody loves the colour and the quality. The curtains really block the light, as described by the seller. Wash them in cold water only, let them air dry, and they will keep the same elegant look forever. I am very happy with the purchase.
