Water Requirements

English Ivy enjoys moderately moist soil. Water when the top half of soil feels dry, ensuring even moisture without waterlogging. During the growing season (spring and summer), water more frequently, but reduce watering in the cooler months to prevent root rot.

Sunlight Requirements

Place your English Ivy in bright, indirect light for optimal growth. It can tolerate some direct morning sunlight, but avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch its leaves. Can tolerate lower light levels but growth will slow and become leggy.

Fertilizer

Feed your English Ivy every 2-4 weeks during the growing season with a 20-20-20 balances fertilizer. This will encourage healthy growth and vibrant foliage. Reduce fertilization during the fall and winter when the plant’s growth slows down.

Propagation

Propagate English Ivy through stem cuttings. Select a healthy stem with at least one node, cut just below the node, and place it in water or moist soil. Keep the cutting in a warm, humid environment, and once roots develop, transfer it to a pot with well-draining soil.
