This compact 30-hour Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier guards against problems caused by dry air in the home. HUMIDITY SETTING: The humidity range can be set from 40% to 75%RH. Recommended humidity is between 45-50%. When ambient humidity reaches the select setting the unit will work in low speed. If it falls +/- 5% it will restore to the original speed.

Easy and functional
So far this humidifier has been working great. It was super easy to plug in and get started. The top fill feature allows for little to no mess. The two settings are easy and allow for a great amount of mist to be released. We have it in a small bedroom and it fits on top of the dresser great. It makes little to no noise and hasn’t had any trouble running.

Love this humidifier! I refill it every other day and it’s so easy to do since it’s light weight. I filter the water that I use in it. I also love that I can add essential oils to a built in tray to diffuse. I’ve had Pure Guardian humidifiers in the past and have found that they work very well.

Does everything I need
This humidifier has everything I was looking for:- made by a reputable brand- adjustable mist setting (3 levels + auto)- night light- timer (up to 12 hours)- diffuser (by adding oil in water, not just a tray)Of the above features, the brand and ability to take essential oil in the tank are probably the most difficult to fulfill.Its auto setting adjusts the mist setting based on the measured relative humidity, which it shows its LED display, and is capped at 50%. Hopefully this means it won’t set off my smoke alarm like another model I had to return.The night light is not as bright as other similar devices, as the tank on this one is opaque, so the light is only coming out on top.So far so good, but it’s only been a couple nights. Will update if this breaks down sooner than expected.

Super Quiet
This is a great humidifier. It is virtually silent which is great since we use it in our child’s bedroom and it puts out a nice fine mist without getting surfaces wet. I wish there was one more lower setting. It only runs for about 18-20 hours not the 30 hours stated between fillings.

Had to return two defective units
Super disappointed. I have been a PureGuardian humidifier fan for years. This latest model is a big improvement on their old graduated-cylinder models. It’s elegant, unobtrusive, QUIET, and the color-changing lighting is soft and subtle: WIN WIN WIN WIN. BUT: my first one developed a defective on-off switch after 3 days. I did an Amazon 30-day guarantee replacement, and the one Amazon sent me (1) was clearly not factory-fresh, as in it had been someone else’s return hmmm wonder why….. and (2) had a defective sensor. So that’s 2 for 2, people. I like the model enough that I’m tempted to order one directly from Pure Guardian and see if I can get one that’s (1) actually new, and (2) actually works longer than 2 days. URGH.
