Freezing snowy weather here. Brought inside immediately. Perfectly healthy.
It was snowing so hard when the plants were delivered. I figured that the plants would probably be fine if I brought them in as soon as the delivery person handed the box to me. There was a heat pack in the box, but that only helps during transit. A heat pack wouldn’t help outside in 30° F.I listened for a notification on my security camera, and I kept checking my delivery status updates. The plants were perfectly healthy with no cold or shipping damage. The size on a couple of the plants were a little bigger than I thought they’d be. I knew they’d be really small plants in 2 inch pots. They were beautiful and colorful. I got two of the same kind of plant, but I really don’t mind because I can combine them in one planter or put them in different planters in my house. As long as I don’t get 3 or 4 of the same plant, then I’ll be happy. The price is a great deal, so I mostly care that the plants are healthy and not damaged.I liked them so much that I bought 3 more packs of 12. I can gift some if I run out of room or get a lot of duplicates. I hope that the nursery does as good of a job of picking a variety of healthy plants and packing them safely as they did the first time. I hope UPS will be as careful with the plants as they were the first time. I will definitely bring in the plants right after the delivery driver walks up to my door with the package to help make sure that the plants survive the trip. This was my first time ordering from this company. I’m pleasantly surprised, so far.My second shipment of plants came. I made sure to be home and watch for notifications on my security camera for the UPS person. The UPS truck was still in front of my house when I opened my the door. It’s freezing here, so I have almost no time before the plants get cold damaged on my porch. I got the plants right after they were put on my porch. They’re all healthy and doing just as well as the first shipment of 12 plants from Altman. I got a few repeats from the first set, but that’s okay to me because the plants are healthy. I’ll use all the duplicates in one container to fill the container out.I have 2 more sets coming in a few days. They will probably get delivered together because I ordered them at the same time.I got my 3rd and 4th shipment at the same time. It was over 50°F today, so freezing wasn’t a potential problem. The wind was so strong that my plants would have blown away if I didn’t get the box handed to me by the UPS delivery person. That’s why I made sure to watch for a notification from my security camera that a UPS truck pulled up.I got 3 kinds of plants that are totally new. The rest of the plants are duplicates of plants that I got in the 1st and 2nd shipment. While I hoped to get more plant varieties in 4 shipments, I don’t mind much because they’re healthy plants. I particularly wanted different kinds of peperomia, but I only got Ginny and obtusifolia. I really like those peperomia, but now I have a lot of them. I know the plants they put in the boxes depend on what’s in season and what’s available when they pack the boxes. That’s one reason the price is low for 12 plants. I did get 2 philodendron birkins, so I can’t complain.I want to put a few of the same kind in one pot, so I’ll have a larger plant faster. I’ll definitely give some of my tradescantia, monstera, and diffenbachia away because I now have too many.I’m still tempted to order more because I love getting a surprise. I’ll wait a little while so I can hopefully get more different kinds of plants. It has been a great experience so far.

Excellent healthy plants with a variety!
The set of 12 plants I received was in excellent health. When I went to transplant them, the root growth was ready to be transplanted and very healthy. They were actually very tall, taller than the descriptions said they would be. They have new growth and have grown quite a bit since I have had them. I highly recommend this seller’s plants. I have bought from Costa Farms before, and some of the plants were not doing very well when I received them. The biggest plus was the variety that they sent. Each plant was different, no repeats.

All 12 came alive
I picked up my packaged a couple minutes after it delivered, and it shipped from sunny Florida to the chilly north. All 12 plants came in somewhat decent shape, none of them dead. They weren’t the best maintained and they seemed like they did sustain some damage during shipping. This was to expected, hence the five stars. The only issue I would have is that the soil did come waterlogged. I did prepare and buy my own pots for the plants plus the soil too. But for anyone new to the game it might be difficult for them to repot, and watering too early may just bring the rot back into the new soil.

An excellent baby houseplant grab bag!
I’m pretty darn impressed by this 12pk of sweet little plants. There’s a very nice selection and only a couple repeats, one of which is pothos – a perfect starter plant for those new to houseplants! Great for gift-giving, too! There were several plants with some crushed/broken leaves, but only one spider plant (that you see cut back to nubs) got badly injured from the rubber band wrapped around the plastic cover near the base of the plant (at the soil level.) I think they did a great job arriving in good condition – especially knowing how harsh shipping conditions can be.These little guys all appear very healthy and pest-free thus far, but I’ll keep them in quarantine for a bit to be sure they’re safe to bring in around my other established house plants.(Sidenote: I highly recommend this strategy with all new houseplants. I unknowingly brought a nasty pest problem (NOT from this seller!) that transfered to my healthy plants and it was very hard to lick! Sad situation, good lesson.)I’m hoping the remainder of the nubby little spider plant makes it and a few of the fewer-leafed beauties fill out once I’ve gotten them in comfy homes with good nutrition. Overall I’m very pleased and will report back with updated pictures in another month or two.I also want to add that the more I consider it, I truly don’t know how they could have done better job carefully packing these little guys for a long shipping journey without exhorbitant cost. I’m very impressed by the care they took – and appreciative!P.S. These pictures were taken after I unwrapped and separated them to water and breathe a bit under observation. I’m kicking myself for not taking pics of the packaging. The plants are each in a tiny black pot with a taller stick to guard the leaves a bit. They were individually covered in clear plastic sheathes, secured individually with a rubber band and gathered together in the 12 little black plastic holders shown inside a strong cardboard shipping box.

Plants
Just received my package, 3 were messed up. Leaves were cracked and looks like possible bugs got to some. Other than that the first are absolutely stunning.

Good product, some are small though.
Good looking, all healthy, no significant issues, only thing noticeable while unboxing is that some are much further along than others. One is big and tall, suprsing it even fit in the box, while another is really small and definitely still needs a lot of help growing.
