Best choice for ease of fill, effectiveness and quality
I’m thoroughly satisfied with the MISTIC4 humidifier.- It effectively and quickly improves humidity levels. It maintains 40-45% in the winter in an 800 sq ft room- It operates quietly, occasionally hear a drip or glug if you’re listening carefully- Filling it is incredibly easy; I use an old Poland Spring 1 gallon water jug, fill it in the tub. 60 seconds to fill the jug, lift lid, pour, close lid, power back on.- It remains clean, even with my hard tap water that contains a lot of calcium.- It appears to be easy to clean, although I haven’t tried it yet.- The capacity is perfect; a gallon of water lasts the entire day.- It has a nice aesthetic and is relatively small.- The price is slightly higher compared to other models, but it seems to be well worth the investment for me.Highly recommended

Easy to clean – best recommendation for a humidifier!
Pros:Superb design and powerful outflow with three speeds that rise water vapor high into air and throughout room. The choices between tank lights of cool blue and warm amber are a delight for setting moods and can be turned off to make unit barely noticeable. Water vapor seems lighter and more effective than past humidifiers we have used and completely soothes nasal passages and breathing overnight.Easy to clean tank. Finally a humidifier that makes that part easy! Entire lid lifts off – so simple.Easy to fill too – top filling so you don’t even have to remove lid; that is another super well-designed advantage – no lugging entire tank to refill. I am using distilled water as we have very hard minerally water. As long as I use distilled we get no particulates (2.5 or 10) registering in air from our (separate) air purifier sensor.Cons:Base is slightly more complicated to clean only because you have to take the whole cord and plug with the base (other humidifiers I have used have a convenient disconnecting cord from base).There is an optional control for nightime use that turns off the lights from base. Which would be super except that it still leaves one light on above the control button to show it is in night mode. I moved the control panel on the base to face away from my bed and that helped a lot, but it would be better to have no lights for night time.Neutral:Unit comes with pads you can add essential oils to smell good, but we don’t use that at all as we have allergies and asthma in house so tend to avoid adding extra stuff into the air.

I like the large size and being able to re-fill it with a pitcher instead of hauling a heavy tank to the kitchen sink.It wouldn’t fit, anyway.works efficiently, quietly, and does exactly what is supposed to do.Easy to clean, as well.

I’m happy with this Vornado misting humidifier. I bought partly based on brand; I’ve got a Vornado room fan that has been exceptional.This humidifier is nicely designed. The tank has a large handle that makes it easy to tote a full tank, but also folds away out of sight. It is near silent in operation. You have to put your ear right up against the unit to hear anything out of it. It’s easy to clean, with just a few pieces to take out. It’s easy to use right out of the box, I barely read the manual. The lid of the tank slides out of the way making access for filling exceptionally easy. I bought two and have been running them both nearly non-stop for the last couple months. So far, I love them and believe they’re one of my best home purchases this year. I’d buy another one if needed to.

inaccurate hygrometer, doesn’t keep humidity at setpoint
Update: I received the replacement and it has exactly the same problems.I’m afraid I have to write a negative review of this. It’s bad on so many levels. Poorly engineered. When you pull the handle to lift the reservoir, the mist tube and lip come off with it but the mist tube doesn’t connect to the reservoir and it will just fall off onto the ground. Having the fill hole on the short side of the reservoir is a poor design because it doesn’t align with a bathtub faucet and you have to hold it to fill it up.Additionally, the hygrometer is wildly inaccurate and the control loop reading the humidy in the room and applying mist to keep at that humidity is terribly implemented. Keeping the humidy at 30%, it fluctuates from 25% all the way up to 45%.On top of that, if I switch it to warm humidy, at the 30% setting, it gets all the way up to 50% humidity.Terrible engineering, ergonomics, implementation.

Really makes a difference in comfort
Even though we have a humidifier connected to our furnace, we still find that the dry winter air results in dry skin and irritated nasal passages. This humidifier stays in our bedroom and makes sleeping much more comfortable. I really appreciate the large capacity water holder so that we don’t have to refill it very often. We can also select the level of humidity, meaning it will adjust its output based on the overall air quality. This is really much nicer than simply accepting the default level.The humidifier is also nice and quiet. The moisture coming out from it is cool, which is a good safety feature as well.

Pretty good.
A bit finicky to get working, but once it does work it’s silent, pretty powerful, and holds a lot of water.Being able to fill this from the top without having to remove the whole tank is awesome. You can still take the entire tank off if you need to as well.Only complaint I have is that the buttons are kind hard to use and even harder to see, but luckily they provide a lock button, so you can set it how you want it and leave it.Very satisfied.
