Liked this so well we bought it again!
We had this thermostat installed in our 45 year-old home after finally caving in to the need for air conditioning. We found this unit to be very easy to use, especially when compared the previous ones that handled heating only. In fact, it worked so well for us, and was so efficient due to the configuration options, we chose to upgrade to this thermostat in a vacation home. The app associated with the thermostat allows us to monitor heating and cooling in both locations with a single click. An added bonus is the monthly summary of heating and cooling hours provided by the associated app. The ability to choose the colors and details of the display, is welcome too. Although the initial cost is a bit more than the typical installer-provided unit, it is easily worth that for the convenience, ease of use and ability to better-manage heating and cooling expenses.

Alexa link in app is broken
This app is by far the worst app I have ever encountered. First, there is no provision to sign up – only sign in. second, once you do find your way to the appropriate page on the Resideo site you sign up (register), it does not allow the app and site yo sync. Third, the help link in the app results in a 404 Page Not Found error. Fourth, Honeywell arbitrarily turned off the TCC 1.0 app connection to Alexa and told no one.So much more is WRONG with this app, but I am out or room. DON’T BUY.

Easy to install. Easy to set up. Very easy to control. The app was easy to set up and use. We this Thermostat at our beach house. Love it shows the humidity inside as well as out and the weather. Lovecthis Thermostat.

Love the technology! Set up was a bit challenging.
If it wasn’t for a neighbor who had a similar thermostat and knew how to install it, I would have been completely lost. I love the technology. Being able to regulate the temperature by using my phone is a plus. Seeing the outside temperature and weather forecast is a definite plus as well. The thermostat works very well. My advice is get help with the installation.

Well designed and easy to use
Easy to install, works great, and looks good. I bought and installed two as an upgrade. I like being able to check and set the thermostat remotely or through Alexa. My only wish is that the display would go dark after a few minutes.

Good but Don’t Install in Bed Room
This is a great thermostat, unless you plan on installing it in a bedroom. Ours was intended for our master bedroom but it has no option to turn off the screen, and it’s very bright.

Renewed Product. I ordered a new one”not” renewed.
I was sent a “Renewed” product. I didn’t open and I’m sending back. I don’t take a chance on an electric or motorized product, especially at $130. I’ll order a new one.

Really like this thermostat. Was easy to install and initially worked fine. Installed in November and within a couple weeks it what shut off and reboot. In December it started displaying sensor errors. Both these issues are now happening consistently sometimes multiple times daily. Just recently lost wifi connection and can not reconnect. Will be calling manufacturer and hopefully will receive a new unit or my money back. 🤞🏻
