Small but powerful space heater
I actually bought this heater based on a TikTok video of someone safety testing different brands of space heaters. This one performed well and matched my price point. My bedroom has two drafty windows that keep the room a few degrees colder than the rest of the apartment and turning the heat up makes it too warm everywhere else. This heater is small but mighty! It warmed my room from 67 degrees to 74 in less than 10 minutes! I learned quickly that I do not need to use the high fan setting or turn the heater on higher than the 4th setting. It warms the room without heating up the table it sits on. I like that it turns on and off automatically to keep steady temperature. It has a safety button on the bottom that shuts it off automatically if it gets knocked over or isn’t sitting flat. I do always unplug it when I leave and while sleeping because I like it cooler at night. It is a little louder than I would like, but I don’t mind it too much. I love this heater and would recommend it to everyone.

I have an out-building that i have set up as a “She Shack” with a comfy chair, an electric tea pot and books.The area is sealed to wind and rain but there’s no heat.I enjoy it so much i bought this to see if you could hear up the space so i could use it all year.I’m a night owl, so i use it mostly after dark and we had a few 30 degree nights and it’s been rainy and cold at the area is feeling damp and chilled when i first go in.Shockingly… In 3 minutes on full fan and half heat, the area is toasty.This really puts out an amazing amount of heat and i didn’t even have it on full heat.I found that i have to put it on the floor, out into the space because of it’s on the counter, the heat rushes up to the ceiling and doesn’t seem to move. With it on the floor, out into the room, the heat naturally rises and circulates really quickly.It was 45° the other night, and it had the chill and damp feeling off the room in under 2 minutes and i turned it off when the room felt really nice (67°) in 5 minutes.That same night, after 4 hours i popped it on again for about 3 minutes and i was very comfy again.I’m not using the thermostat because I’m running it when i need it but when it thinks it should.This is way over sized for my 12×12 room so it would be wonderful in an even larger space but I’m very happy with just needing to run it for a few minutes because it is oversized for my use.Very quiet too and it has the button safety button so if it gets knocked over it shuts off instantly. It cools down almost instantly and it’s small enough to hide in my big drawer until i need it.I have only guys things to say about it. I asked AI Copilot to find me a space heater for my needs and this was the top pick.I only paid $19 for it because of a lightning deal but knowing what i know about it now, if i wanted to buy another, I’d willingly pay up to $39 for it if i had to. Really works well for my needs. No remote but i hate remotes and never use them.There’s a great YouTube video for it.

Small but mighty!
I’ve been using this space heater for about a month now, and I feel like I couldn’t get anything better than this for the price. It gets HOT if you need it to, but I use it under my home office desk and the lower settings are plenty warm for me. It heats up quickly and has simple controls. I like that it has a safety switch on the bottom so that if it gets knocked over, it automatically turns itself off (and back on as soon as it’s back on its bottom). As far as looks go, it might not be the prettiest option on amazon, but it is definitely worth the purchase for the functionality.

Powerful Heater.
This is a great small plug in heater for my room. It automatically turn on and off by itself. It has a built-in tip over safety feature at the bottom that make it feel safe to use. It has options/controls on the top for more convenience. I used the other brands too but this Amazon Basics heater is the best choice for me. I do recommend it!

Amazon Basics Ceramic Space HeaterPros: The heater provides very impressive heat, which easily warms up a small to medium room. It is quiet, compact, and has an aesthetic design. The heater has two primary heat settings, in addition to a dial that allows you to fine-tune the temperature for each of the two primary settings.Cons: There is a light on the front of the heater that always stays on even when it is not running unless you unplug it or place it on it’s side to disengage the push-pin on the bottom of the unit (see video provided with this review). The cord is somewhat stiff and can cause the unit rotate in an unwanted direction if placed on a smooth surface like a table or tile flooring. It can fall over relatively easily if you accidentally tap the unit or cord while walking.Overall, I am happy with the heater, especially for the price, and highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to purchase a space heater.

Best small investment! I keep this heater in the nursery where my little one sleeps since her room gets very cold for some reason. I really love how this thing keeps the room at a warm temperature, and that it doesn’t stay on constantly which would eventually overheat the room.The only thing I’d change about it is the temperature knob. Rather than it just being showing “high and low”, I wish there were actual temperatures on there so I could know which temperature I’m setting the thermometer to maintain the room at.. It’s kind of a guess game when you first get it and then you kind of get to know what works and doesn’t work for you.The safety feature where it turns off it it isn’t flush with a flat surface is great too! Not to mention I can appreciate that the metal face doesn’t get too hot to touch either.To anyone wondering, it’s a bit loud when it’s on, but it becomes like white noise once you get used to it.All in all I’d recommend this heater as it’s cheap, works great, has great safety features and is very compact!

El calentador funciona bien, es muy práctico por ser tan pequeño.Tiene un interruptor de seguridad en la base que lo apaga en caso de voltearse lo que es bueno, para evitar accidentes por sobrecalentamiento, del cual también está protegido con su termostato.Tenemos otro más grande, de torre, y calientan igual de rápido una habitación pequeña (lo que es esperado pues los dos son de 1500W).Solo le encuentro dos puntos, me parece ruidoso para su tamaño, si bien el ruido que hace es tipo ruido blanco (más bien ruido rosa para los que saben del tema) que en realidad no es molesto, y puede pasar desapercibido la mayor parte del tiempo, al apagarse y prenderse con el termostato, de inmediato notas su presencia, por lo que no es adecuado para mantener caliente una habitación en la que vas a dormir.El otro tema a mejorar es lo amplio del punto de encendido y apagado de su termostato, como está dentro del aparato, al llegar a su punto de apagado, se mantendrá apagado por mucho tiempo, a pesar de que la habitación esté fría.Estos dos puntos mejorarían mucho si el ventilador fuera independiente de la resistencia y se pudiera dejar funcionando el ventilador aún cuando se alcance la temperatura del termostato y solo se apague la resistencia (será mi pequeño proyecto DYS separar el ventilador del circuito termostato-resistencia, y tal vez ponerle un smart-switch).
