thick
high quality-thick. It totally blocked out the light I needed to cover a doorway into a den.

Quiet room and good sleep!
These curtains are very thick, well made and they look nice. I can still hear the air compressor outside my bedroom window, but it is not nearly as loud as before. I am very happy with these curtains.

Excellent quality. Will purchase again.
These things are perfect. They’re much better than the thin blackout curtains I’ve bought before. They’re thick, good quality, and have excellent insulating properties. I’m definitely buying more.

Worth every penny
If you have drafty, bright or noisy windows these are worth every penny. Blocks light sound and temperature. Two thumbs up

Reduces sounds and blocks all light!
The purpose for my purchase was to cover my bedroom without closing the door so the cats can roam whenever. Also to block out any noise/light from my elder dad. Attached both curtains in one rod and hung on bedroom door. Completely blocks and light and dampness any noise. Does not completely block out noise but it’s good enough to keep me asleep all night. Highly recommend.

Best curtains I have ever owned
These are quite frankly the best curtains that I have owned. They are thick and well made, the curtains do decrease the temperature during hot days and maintain heat in my room during the cold days. I have had these long enough that I have experienced 106 degree days and a low of 50 degree days. Not only that but I use to wake up whenever the sun rose no matter if I was ready to wake up or not. These curtains block out the sunlight and now my body is able to wake up when it wants to or needs to. My friend who truck drives will even come to my house to sleep in my room when he needs to sleep during the day because of how dark these curtains will make my room. I liked the size of the grommets, it made putting them on the curtain rod a breeze. These curtains are so well made that they definitely have weight to them and yes they wash beautifully without any extra TLC needed. The color is exactly what I had wanted and even though they are beige, it isn’t a drab beige and the color was perfect. The fabric is of such quality that they don’t wrinkle. There isn’t one negative thing I could say about these curtains not even the price, I think they are well worth every penny.

Vampires look no further; say goodbye to daylight.
I was genuinely surprised by the quality and functionality of these insulated curtains. I underestimated the amount of space they would occupy, and the difference became immediately apparent when I compared them to a set of sheer curtains I had ordered in the same size. One of the first things I noticed was the distinct pattern on both sides of the curtains, reminiscent of a well-tailored suit jacket. This design not only adds to their aesthetic appeal but also enhances their insulation properties. It truly feels like you’re draping a jacket over your window. The curtains effectively block out light, allowing only a small amount to seep in around the edges, and they also help to slightly reduce sound, as expected. The black color is rich and deep, but I do have some concerns. If these curtains are similar to their outdoor patio counterparts, prolonged exposure to sunlight may eventually affect the outward-facing side with fading due to UV damage. The size is accurate, but I recommend opting for wider curtains if you want to maintain a pleated look when they are closed. While it’s challenging to quantify the thermal properties of these curtains, my experience suggests they will help retain heat indoors during the winter and keep out heat in the summer. The grommets are well-made, allowing the curtains to fit nicely on 1-inch or larger curtain rods for aesthetic purposes, although they can also accommodate smaller rods if they can support the additional weight. The only downside I can foresee is the need to upgrade all my curtains to match, which I anticipated. I started with a trial set and a plan to commit to a full upgrade once I confirm their effectiveness—definitely a good problem to have! Also, it comes with creases that need to be ironed out, but that only took a few minutes to fix.In summary, I highly recommend these curtains, but keep in mind that they are blackout curtains designed to eliminate all light. As someone who prefers a dark environment, this suits me perfectly, but it may be a drawback for others.

Great curtains
I love these curtains. Thick but not too heavy. I have them on windows that get the afternoon sun and they really cut down on the temperature in the room. They were easy to hang up, and go with almost anything. I think they are a very well made product for the money.

Excellent. Mesures conformes a description.

I have a mudroom that isn’t fully winterized and is open to the rest of the house. In the past I just used cheaper “thermal” curtains a few times a year in the doorway to help with the draft. But we are having a brutally cold winter this year in southern Ontario so I had to find a better option. I bought these and WOW…… It’s insane how thick these are and how much cold they keep out. I will say that I have them doubled up (one curtain on top of another). I read that will keep way more cold out versus using each panel next to each other like you normally would with curtains. But since my main goal was keeping the cold draft coming through the doorway, I chose to layer the panels on top of each other. It’s a serious game changer if you’re in a similar situation with a drafty room! Highly recommend!
