Effective Panels, Used on My Celling With a Backer Board, Strong Adhesive Has Kept Them Up for Weeks
These AUSLET pyramid foam panels worked well on my ceiling in my office. They arrived vacuum packed in two sets of 12 and had a strong foam and adhesive smell to them. After letting them set out for a week, I installed them strategically around my space, and it really made a huge difference. The dampening qualities were noticeable by ear or clapping—cutting out the echo. Moreover, doing a spectral analysis of the room indicated that it really reduced several frequencies. They look great in the space; the base is around 3/4 of an inch thick, and the pyramid peaks are just under 2 inches (ca. 5 cm) tall. The adhesive is strong, staying firmly mounted to the foam backing panels I used as a dropped ceiling. Overall, these are a decent value ($40 for 24 panels at the time of review); they are pricier than non-pyramidal foam panels, but these AUSLET ones are less than other brands—so that is great. I am really impressed with these acoustic panels and will easily purchase more from AUSLET, as the price to performance is fantastic.

Good Starter Panels for Cutting Echo, Not Full Soundproofing
I ordered these acoustic foam panels to help with echo in a small home office where I record audio and do video calls. After getting them up on the wall, there was a noticeable difference in how “hollow” the room sounded—voices came through a bit clearer and less bouncy. They arrived compressed but expanded back into shape within a day or so, and overall they look clean once installed. The adhesive backing makes setup pretty straightforward, and I didn’t have to mess with extra glue or tape for most of them. The foam itself feels decently dense, not super flimsy, and the pyramid pattern gives it that classic studio look. For basic sound treatment—like reducing echo, reverb, and background noise—they do a solid job, especially for the price and the number of panels you get in the pack. The main downside is that these aren’t true “soundproofing” panels, so they won’t block outside noise or keep sound from leaving the room. The adhesive is also okay but not perfect—on a couple of panels, I had to press them back into place or reinforce them slightly to keep them from peeling over time. Still, if you’re looking to improve sound quality in a home office, podcast setup, or small studio without spending a lot, these are a good starting point.

They work, but you really need a lot for it to be noticably effective
Product: 8/10When opening it for the first time, they’re VERY tightly compact and flat, and you have to let them all sit for a day or two to puff up again. The adhesive on the back works very well and is very easy to put on the wall. They work, but you need a lot to be noticably effective.

Nice acoustic sound panels
Hubby is making a studio out of a shed in our backyard and I got him these foam sound panels to help with his recording. They are good decent quality panels, and I think they really help with soundproofing his shed. They weren’t difficult to put up, they’re self adhesive, and so far have stayed up well. 6 panels doesn’t really go far though if you have a bigger space, and at the current price of $39.99, it can get pricy getting enough to REALLY soundproof a studio. Overall they are good quality and do the job, the downside is they can be pricy if you have a large space to cover.

Great smaller focused sound panel for tight pattern sound cleanup.
Great directional and intentional sound reduction panels. It is important that when you are using these to get the right wall design before you secure them to the wall – get a good read for what you want before fully setting them in place. The unpacking and allowing the panels to breathe after being removed from the airtight sealed packaging allows for some expansion. That thickness is not absurd, but it is very effective for the size. The classic black tile look is very acclimated to most studio settings – so it blends in well. Once the position is determined, the full adhesive holds up well in a temperature and humidity regulated environment. So far, the panels have been bumped and run into accidentally and they have not had any durability issues in the foam or the adhesive.

Good echo reduction – (not cat-proof) –
I got these to reduce the echo/hollow sound when recoding videos. I researched the best ways to stategically place them on the wall for the best result. I have found that they work very well. The egg-carton shaped foam panels diffuse, or scatter the sound, rather than dampen it, so they are great for echo reduction, but not loss of sound. Other reviews have complained about the stickiness of the adhesive, but, *knock on wood*, I have not had that issue with them sticking on my walls. Although, my cat try to climb one, and pulled it off the wall.

Reduces noise in my apartment
Living in an apartment, I got the AUSLET Acoustic Foam Panels to reduce some of the noise from my neighbors. Considering the number of doors and closures in my apartment, space is somewhat limited, making these panels an ideal size for the available areas.Upon opening the panels, they quickly expanded in thickness. The adhesive backing offers a convenient application method. However, I opted to use black tacks, as I was concerned about the potential for the adhesive to remove the paint if taken down. The panels have noticeably reduced a significant amount of noise. Having tried other products that proved ineffective, I am genuinely impressed. They are pleasantly soft and thick. I am also pleased that they appear aesthetically pleasing rather than cheap, thus not detracting from my home’s decor. These panels are of high quality, and I intend to purchase more for other sections of my apartment. Their price is excellent, especially considering their usefulness. I strongly recommend them.

Sound absorption pros
The foam is perfect I only give 1 star because the adhesive is terrible. it doesn’t work at all but thumbtacks will secure it down properly. I used this to soak up sound from sometimes yelling at my game as the walls are not the thickest and these help out a lot!!
