Actually made a noticeable difference right away
We recently bought a house from the 70s and quickly realized during the winter that the insulation wasn’t great. We could literally feel cold air coming through the windows.I installed this foam tape around all our windows, and honestly, the difference was noticeable right away. Once it was in place, the heat stayed in the rooms much better and the drafts were pretty much gone.It was easy to install and stuck well, and I like that it’s a simple, affordable fix compared to replacing windows or doing bigger upgrades.Overall, this worked great for us and saved us a lot of money. Definitely recommend if you’re dealing with drafty windows.

Nice and thick, but adhesive is poor.
The weather stripping is nice and thick and just what I needed. The adhesive on the other hand is not very good. The first strip when I pulled off the paper took the whole thing off, so no adhesive. The others kept the adhesive on but it’s just not strong enough to do what it needed to do on a door that gets used frequently. I had some spray adhesive so I used that and so far it’s holding.

Works as intended
Use this to seal one vertical side of the door leading to the garage. It’s been up for a few weeks and continues to adhere. It seals the air flow as intended. Easy to work with during installation. Seems like a quality product that works well. I expect it to last for a long time, but like I said, it’s only been up a few weeks so far.

Good quality but problems with adhesive
It is a thick foam, that definitely is going to do the job. However, the adhesive is in some places, especially at the edges where it curls because it arrived as a roll, is weak so I finally nailed it, but also in other places ithe adhesive is very strong and very hard to remove if it needs slight adjustments. So, for these reasons I would not buy it again and would try to find something that requires nailing only

Great value
Kept us warmer during the below zero onslaught of January 2026. Good value for what you get. The drafts are definitely lessened, and it’s easy to cut for installation. Glue is excellent.

Fabulous product. Researched what I needed and this was the best. Completely seals the door to my unit, blocking a lot of sound from the hallway & light pollution. Easy to apply & if it’s a little crooked, easy to readjust. FYI, 100% Acetone nail polish removes any previous sticky residue.

This is exactly what I was looking for it’s thick enough and not cheap it also sticks very well. It helped a lot with the noise in the hallway at my condo and also stopped the wind draft from coming in no more stinky smell from the outside! I also used it for the parents’ storm door to block the wind draft. Definitely worth it for the price.

Does as it needed. A good fit

The adhesive is this foams biggest drawback. It either sticks super hard or just simply doesnt. I used it as speaker gasket and bending around the contour of my speakers was just tight enough to be on the cusp of its ability to bend and stick. But with pressure fitting it down with the speaker bolts its not going anywhere. Also if you need to moint hardware and need vibration damping, sticking a few squares of this together works really good as spacers for this.Id say for the 10 different things ive used it for while working on my car it was straightforward for 8 of those things. The rest needed some fiddling around.
