love this back massager
WOW. It feels like a professional massage, but I find that I use it excessively. Heat, vibrations, and air compression for the back and seat are just a few of the many settings available on the remote for the type of massage you desire.Where your back would rest, a detachable cushion is already in place. The straps on the back make it easy to keep it linked to a chair or love seat, but I find that I don’t need to use it because the device doesn’t shift at all. If you discover that you need a more intense massage, you can just remove the padding.Key Features1. 4D Shiatsu Kneading MassageRotating massage nodes mimic hand-kneading massageTargets neck, shoulders, upper back, and lower backHelps relieve muscle tension and fatigue2. Great quality and good price
This Confier massage back and neck pad is an excellent product and does a great job on both your back and neck and I use it daily for my problems I have had for years. Confier products are always good quality and fairly priced. Anyone with back and neck problems will be happy with this massage pad.

Its worth the money
Now that I work from home, Ive become more sedentary. I purchased for my home office as shown.I use the massager a few times a day and Ive noticed relief of pain/tension. The chair massager can be compared to the massagers at the salon. The maximum session time is 15mins.It massages in a circular kneeding motion. From my very low back, up to the back of my neck ( I’m 5’5).I sometimes remove it from my home office and use on the sofa downstairs. Its even better while sitting and watching TV on a nice big couch. It takes its time moving upwards and downwards penetrating a deep massager.

Handy for home office work
I’ve been buying Comfier products for a while. The leg massager, hand massager, in car lower back massager. This is my second office chair from them. I like their warranties (which I’ve used once and it was easy). If you register the warranty on their site they extend it and I think that’s worth it, since massage chairs have a lot of frequently moving parts.Adjustable neck massage on this really nice. I actually use this chair and the previous iteration in Zoom meetings, and just keep the remote handy for when I need to unmute and speak. Though I think most background sound cancellation these days is good enough that people probably wouldn’t pick up on the sound while unmuted.Anyway great massage chair. But really, just get a massage chair. Any massage chair. I use one for a couple hours everyday while working, one like this this and separately a foot and leg massager. It’s such a quality of life game changer, being able to get work done for a couple hours while getting a massage the whole time. Since you’re not buying a full size massage chair something like this and a foot-leg one together is cheaper, but it’s also such that can insert them into your physical home office setup so you can get a massage while you work.

The BEST Portable Chair Massager!
If you’re considering a portable massage solution, I can’t recommend the Comfier Shiatsu Portable Massage Chair Pad highly enough. We’ve owned older-style chair massager pads for years—especially for RV travel—but this upgraded version is in a completely different league.Comfier’s “all the bells & whistles” model truly lives up to the hype. It delivers a level of effectiveness and customization that older pads simply can’t match. The intensity, adjustability, and range of massage options make it feel far more like a full massage experience rather than a basic add-on.At first glance, the price might seem high—but I genuinely see it as an investment. What you get in return absolutely justifies the cost. We also own one of those large, dedicated massage chairs—the kind that comes closest to replicating a professional massage therapist—but it has one major drawback: it’s not portable. That’s where this Comfier chair pad shines. It bridges that gap beautifully, offering an impressively comparable experience in a compact, travel-friendly form. For anyone who wants a high-quality massage with the convenience of pressing a button—whether at home or on the road—this is a must-have. It’s comfortable, versatile, and incredibly easy to use.As someone who deals with daily chronic pain, having this has made a real difference in my quality of life. It provides consistent relief, helps me relax, and gives me access to effective massage therapy whenever I need it. For me, that alone makes it worth every penny.

These just do not last or work right out of the box x2 failures in one week
This and the previous model have really gone down in quality and reliability. This is the later model and upon receiving it, the power was o k however it’s supposed to heat back and neck. The only heat felt is on the right side lower node. Neck and left side no heat at all. Just before this I had just ordered a replacement for one purchased in 2021 which lasted 3 years before it’s first failure. I was able to open it up and repair it to get us this far. The older style that showed up didn’t last 5 minutes before it made a very loud pop and none of the nodes moved at all. This is two failures in two weeks. Beware they are not what the use to be. What happens in the older models is the plastic breaks off making them good for nothing but the trash. See photos!!

To put it simply, this chair massager has all the bells and whistles that an attachable chair massager could have. Firstly, I am no stranger to chair massagers as I owned and used one from another brand for 2 years at my workplace and that one was around 200$. I should have purchased this one instead as the quality and features are worth the extra dollars. I have to say, this chair has the best headrest compared to anything that I have tried hands down. The chair is super comfy that it does not even have to be turned on to be comfy. The sitting piece is thick and nicely padded. Controller is light, sleek, easy to control and has its own holder on the side of the chair. Headrest and back area have removable covers to make cleaning a breeze. Power cord and adapter are quite lengthy. Materials are strong and of quality and feel like they are meant to last.Features: 3 modes of vibration which are applied to the seating area. Headrest can be adjusted up/down via controller along with the rotation of the 2 massage nodes. 2 back mode massage styles even though I will forever have it on “2D/3D” as opposed to “Rolling”. The “Spot” mode/button is a step up from other chairs that have this feature because you can freely adjust the desired location on your back via the up/down buttons as opposed to other chairs where you have to wait for the chair to get to the desired spot and then press the spot button to target the desired location. You have the option to limit where you want the massagers to go (Full upper back, Lower back, or both). Heat can be toggled on or off.About the air compression features: This is a premium feature not found in any lower priced chairs and it is quite pleasant. You have the option to turn on/off the air in the seat/back independently of each other along with setting the intensity (3 levels). Air in the seat really compresses the thighs and glutes nicely, whereas, the air in the back feels like you are getting hugged and makes you feel snuggly. Overall, a nice addition and I truly believe all will enjoy. The next best massager would be those that are completely stationary, however, they begin pricing above 1k. This Comfier chair massager may seem pricey but you are certainly paying for the best in the attachable chair massager category yet can perform better or just as good as the lower priced completely stationary massage chairs.

While I have wanted a massage chair like this one (https://www.amazon.ca/EASPEARL-Massage-Shortcut-Bluetooth-Recliner/dp/B0B56HMQ6T) for a long time, I simply cannot bring myself to spend the money. This item has almost everything the massage chair does (shiatsu, heating, compression, etc.) at a fraction of the cost. Okay, to be truthful, it is not the same as a $2000+ chair, but for now, it is certainly good enough to suit my needs. When they state that it is a full body massage, they are close to being accurate. It does the neck and back pretty well, but you don’t get anything lower than the upper thighs on your legs. I found the compression worked fairly well, but again, not the same as a true massage chair. I also found, at least for my height, that I couldn’t quite get the shiatsu to get my lower back without some manoeuvering. While the above complaints make it sound like I do not like the product, this is not true. I actually find it to be quite useful and inexpensive when you compare it to the cost the chair I referenced above. The device has a full suite of settings (zones, forward reverse shiatsu, power/pressure level, heat, etc.) and it definitely has the portability aspect as well, so you can use in multiple locations in your home. The only thing that I would like to see in a newer version would be the ability to adjust the neck and back height settings on the unit itself. Other than that and the few points I mentioned above (hence the 4 star rating), this is a great product. Overall, for a reasonable $299.99 ($269.99 with coupon), you get a portable “full body” massager that gets the job done. While it may not be as good as a full chair, it definitely doesn’t carry the same cost either.RecommendedGood luck with your decision/purchase

I compared a few of these massage seats based on features, and I liked the heat, 3D, and the back air cushions. I think I decided well.NOTE: Don’t get confused between the grey and black ones, It’s NOT just the color, they are entirely different seats, and you will notice the lower star reviews are all for the black buzzy seat. This is the grey one with an actual shiatsu-style massage.Heat: the heat is based in the massaging ball/mechanism, not on the entire back. To me, this is much better, you get heat right where you want the focus, and not just a cheap blanket over your entire back, which could become uncomfortable and is probably a cheaper way to construct this.3D: This is a little harder to understand, but instead of just a twisting shiatsu-style massage with both rollers at the same time on both sides of your spine, this can alternate left, right, left, etc. It really feels like someone is actually massaging your back. Brilliant. There is also a “rolling” pattern that just rolls up and down your back, very nice even for a before or after just to calm your muscles down.Air cushions: This will give you a pretty decent little squeeze around the back/side/kidney area, and actually has a comforting massage action. It will inflate and deflate as you experience the massage. Very nice. There is also one for the seat, but I’m not sure if I’m the target for this, it would probably give your hips a bit of pressure and alignment. There are three levels of air pressure: blue, teal and green. I have no idea which is stronger or which is weaker, and it’s not explained in the manual. The seat has a few vibration patterns, but I never use it, again I don’t think I am the target audience for this. Perhaps if you had circulation issues this might help you?The neck massager is fine, it circles in either direction, and is adjustable up to get the base of your skull and low enough that it reaches a good spot at the top of my shoulders (I’m 5’8″). If you want to get a more deep shoulder massage, you might need a cushion to sit on.The wired remote is not bad. It takes a little experimentation to understand how to cycle between the neck, back and upper and lower zones, but no more than one massage cycle. I don’t know why the LEDs in the middle that show where on the back it is working aren’t actual buttons instead of just LEDs, but a minor thing. Also that confusing air pressure indicator I explained above. The little pocket for the remote is a bit tight but I’m sure it will stretch out over time… I have a pocket on the side of the chair I use and I can reach it while sitting on this seat so it’s much more logical place to put it.The packaging was great, and the 1 year warranty can be extended to 3 years when you register it!I had my family come over and try it. At least one more of these was already on order after they had only tried it for 15 minutes.

I liked the different functions and also the massage areas. I don’t think the heat function is so good, it takes too long to feel the heat and the intensity of the heat is too low for me.It is important to use the correct chair so that the upper part of the massage is held in position by the chair!I am very satisfied.
