Bubble gasket can be easily cut to the desired length. Please check the size of your door slot or window opening to ensure that the flange can be inserted for installation.

Used to fill the gap in between old wooden windows as a temporary seal
They seem to work ok for my application. They squeezed thin and popped back open as they should. They were a bit “sticky” which helped keep them where I put them in between the gap in old wooden windows to cut down on the draft. That may not work for others as they stick to themselves as you’re trying to work with them. Not sure how durable they are. We’ll know when I go to open the windows in the Spring to see if they fell apart or are reuseable

Use a multi oscillating tool to remove old strip or even enlarge groove in window if needed.
Works great. Use an oscillating multi tool if necessary to remove the old one, or enlarge the slot like I needed to do.

Good product, a little softer/flimsier than others.
I restore century old wood windows, made before weatherstripping was a thing. These bulb-seals are great for things like where the sash meets the sill and getting a better seal where the sashes meet. This brand is a lot “squishier” than I’m used to but does the job; I’ll probably look for something with a bit more sturdiness on my next gig, but when the temps got under the 20’s, the latest window wasn’t leaking a bit – did the job. That softness may suit your own projects though.

Changing the old gasket with the Kerf Mount Bulb Gasket was a breeze, and my windows have a good seal right now.

This turned out easier than anticipated. I wasn’t sure if I had the sizing right but they fit into the channel easily. It was easier to take the window out, wash the channel well and fit the new bulb in…. Rather than do it with the window still installed. The windows seemed very tight to close this winter but I think it was because the old one was so decayed and made for a very loose fit. I used callipers to measure the bulb against the old ones and figure tight is better than loose for 6 months of winter.
