These are great.
These are great. Installation was a breeze. Upgraded to these from a non-smart honeywell thermostat. Instructions were excellent. Connected to wifi without any problems.

Smart thermostat with plenty of options.
This smart thermostat is a compatible upgrade from our “dumb” Honeywell thermostat. It has plenty of features and setup options. BEWARE!…this is not a simple plug and play. Programing and wiring can be tricky as we have a heat pump-a/c with emergency natural backup heat.Honeywell tech support is limited as they consider this to be a “pro install” meaning a HVAC Tech. Fortunately, I was able to get this installed with tech support and a friend that’s hvac certified.Now we can control house temperature from our smart phones.

Awesome thermostat that has the ability to automatically switch my HIVAC system from hot to cold and back again as needed to hit the target inside temperature.

Know your settings
This is an excellent product. If you’re setting it up yourself, there is one setting with a heater that is different on a carrier and a ruud air conditioner. Check that setting carefully. It requires one app to set it up and another app to use it in your home.

Honeywell thermostat
I only gave it a 4 star because I’m waiting for my Professional to install it with a new Heat Pump. Old unit was 22 years old and started to freeze up to point of no air flow thru AHU.
