Vornado’s first V-Flow™ tower fans introduced a wide, continuous range of air movement to create whole-room circulation. Now, we’ve taken it further by adding smooth oscillation—bringing the best of both worlds to the Vornado lineup. V-Flow™ airflow plus oscillation truly puts a new twist on your airflow experience. With 70º of rotational range expanded to an impressive 130º of powerful, cooling airflow, this tower fan offers a panoramic, sweeping breeze that fills the entire space and keeps your environment consistently comfortable. The OSC84 combines sleek, space-saving design with high-powered performance. Its slim profile blends seamlessly into any room, making it the ideal tower fan for bedroom use, home offices, dorm rooms, and modern living spaces. Whether you’re looking for a standing fan, plug-in fan, or a whisper-quiet tower fan for home, OSC84 delivers style and substance. With V-Flow™ whole-room circulation, this quiet fan eliminates the need for oscillation alone by continuously distributing air through uniquely contoured air outlets. But when you want even more coverage, you can activate the oscillating tower fan mode to send airflow sweeping across larger areas. It’s perfect for summer cooling, supporting your AC system, or just creating consistent airflow throughout the day or night. A sturdy base ensures stability, and intuitive onboard controls allow easy adjustment of airflow. Pair it with a timer function or remote control for even greater convenience (sold separately). Designed for efficiency, comfort, and style, the OSC84 is more than just a fan—it’s a smarter way to stay cool. Its minimalist tower form factor means it takes up less space than traditional box fans while delivering more even air distribution. Whether you’re relaxing, working, or sleeping, this tower fan ensures consistent comfort. Upgrade your indoor air experience with a trusted Vornado tower fan built to perform and built to last.

GREAT FAN & GREAT VALUE!
This is a powerful fan that will be great for keeping my room cool with increasing temperatures; Very stable even thought it is tall. the oscillation is a great way to cool any room and the remote make it easy to adjust from anywhere in the room. The noise is manageable and this is a great fan for the money!

I write this review not just to comment on the product but also to warn new owners to open the box right side up.I made the mistake of opening the box upside down (Amazon had put the mailing label in the wrong direction), and as a result couldn’t locate certain key parts, notably the remote and the four screws needed to secure the base to the fan.I contacted Amazon to see how I could get replacement parts, and they actually arranged for a replacement fan to be sent.Fortunately, I realized that I had not checked under the cardboard packaging at the “real” top of the box, and lo and behold, there were the “missing” parts, so I canceled the fan replacement. As others have noted, this tower fan wobbles as it works, but I suspect Vornado may have built in some wobble to protect the oscillator bearings from harm when people or pets inevitably bump into the fan.Otherwise, the fan puts out a lot of air very quietly, oscillates as advertised, and looks cool doing it all.The fact is, in my experience, Vornado fans cost a little more than some other brands, but they look and work better, offering more years of service. So this tower fan is a welcome addition to my studio apartment in what looks like a hot summer, and I give it two well-cooled thumbs up…

Vornado’s Top Quality Tower Fan
Highly recommend any Vornado fan. This the 4th Vornado that we have purchased. Very high quality fan. This tower fan moves alot of air across the room. We have noticed the room is alot cooler using this tower fan. The noise level on high is not that noticeable. Pretty quiet fan that was easy to put together.

Good fan but does not oscillate
Powerful but this model does not oscillate. If it did, it would be 5 stars all the way

It blows cold breeze
Very powerful fan it blows cold air and cooled down my living room. I don’t like AC so this is my next best option. And it works great. I love it.The noise level is a little loud if you’re using it on high, but I don’t mind it. It blocks out the noise from outside. Easy to use it has the power button, the circular button, the speed button and the time button, and it comes to a remote control

Please read the instructions upon installation. You’ll need a fitting screwdriver.
Definitely well worth the price. I’d stay away from those tower fans where it requires you to download an app to control it. Too many apps to begin with. I like how it’s fanning area kind of twists too for a brushing. More relaxing blow of air. The controller is very convenient too however you kind of have to point up and over it from a distance for your fan to get the signal. Remember to use a direct outlet too because it uses so much power because I use to have a Lasko. And the darn thing went out on me because it was in a multi-tap outlet. It’s very. Very quiet too. And. Please read the instructions upon installation.

Good Fan, Not a Great Fan
If I could do half stars this is a 3.5 – Good fan, not a great fan. Part of this is a problem with the form factor, really hard to aim the fan given its twisted mouth. I know it’s designed to mostly be used with the oscilation function, but if you want to target a certain area it requires a lot of finagling to figure out where it hits because every few inches is a different vector for the air.But the biggest problem is the dead zones on the air vents. The top and bottom 6 inches or so do not produce air. Which is a problem if you bought this thing for height and coverage. That’s a foot of the vents that don’t produce air, which isn’t nothing. Also more loud than powerful. It’ll get the job done, but there are more powerful options that do it with less noise at the highest setting. It does seem robust, I don’t see it dying soon and could take a hit and seems smartly designed in terms of form factor, if not for the problems listed above.

Strong silent type
Puts out good amount of air without too much noise. I especially love that you can turn off the beeps for the buttons, so all you have is peaceful use.Strong airflow on even the medium settings.
