Improved with time
EDIT:After the smell finally faded, I’ve been really happy with these. I hung them in my living room (I have another set – the Starry Night one – from the same company on my other two living room walls) to help catch the noise of my dogs barking. Normally, the barking sort of ricochets on the bare walls. I previously solved this using a giant blanket on the wall, but these acoustic panels really are so much better!I left the original review below so buyers can consider all aspects before purchasing, but in the end I am satisfied with this product and with this edit have increased my review by 2 stars.Original review:I have a couple acoustic panels from this company now, and most of them I LOVE. I wanted to love this – the forestry is really lovely (as someone who grew up in a pine forest). But there were two points I hated with this set:1. This is the first set I have received that didn’t come with adhesive backing. The backing is just more foam panel, and it does NOT stick as well as the other panels, even with the nanotape.2. The chemical smell. These things REEKED out of the box. I had to air them out in my back porch for weeks before I could have them inside and breathe at the same time. They set off my asthma terribly. They’re fine now, but it was a hostile month.They also don’t seem as good at sound blocking as the other products I’ve tried.Swing and a miss.

These were a purchase with above average quality for what they are. Easy to install if you know how. Sadly this company is no longer offering the panels anymore so I am not able to add on a couple of more which I would have liked and the reason of my 3 stars.
