Better than nothing
I bought some door wreath hangers and put this over the door to my home office. It helps keep the sounds of the kids out of the room while I’m on a call. It’s pretty good quality and heavy. It covers the full length of the door and muffles out the bottom gaps of the door. It also comes with a Velcro strip if you want to hang it that way but that seemed annoying to screw into the wall.

Just slightly muffled noise. Wish I could say more about the quality but I didn’t notice the smell until I unpacked it completely, It smells like mildew! The top adhesive isn’t as strong so you need to use the hooks. Installation is easy. Just buy something else at this point. Don’t waste your money!

Very good but Velcro part is starting to come apart after a few months of use
This sound blanket was exactly what I was looking for since I needed to sound proof my room for when I live stream and make videos! It works great and I like that you can use a couple different ways of hanging it too! It also fits great on my standard size door.The one problem I do have is that the Velcro part of the blanket is starting to already come apart and it’s coming off the Velcro on the wall much easier too. I’ve had this for a few months so I guess that can be expected for how much I use it

Worked GREAT! No More Loud Neighbors!
Woah, does a fantastic job of blocking sound. My room has an extra door to the yard that would let a ton of sound in from the street and next door neighbors, but the putty, tape, and blanket combo worked amazingly well. It’s not too thick, but blocks so much noise from a busy city. I couldn’t even tell there was loud music playing outside. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Extremely happy with this purchase.

Does an ok job
Certainly reduced noise for a home office, which was the goal, but hangs sideways making it difficult to cover the whole door. Hooks are straight on door frame but eyelets are not level on curtain.

Great for noise and temp control
This has helped a lot. Have a third story with its own A/C but no real door, just a plastic accordion. This has helped by reducing noises from the floor below, but also reducing the amount of heat and moisture rising and all the cooling going downstairs. Easy to put on and remove with hangers

This product does not work very well and has a terrible odor. Not only does it not dampen sound as expected, but the oder is so strong that it gave me a headache. I returned the product.

I bought this to go over a door as my upstairs neighbour loves to play his music loud and I wanted to try and limit the noise. Hard to tell if this actually works, I can’t tell too much of a difference, maybe a little bit, the music is pretty loud so it’s hard to gage.But set up was really easy, the velcro worked good for me and just I hung it up over my door. I wish it was tighter against the side of door so its blocking everything.Overall if it wasn’t loud music and just people talking or doing normal stuff I’m sure this blanket would work good but for really loud noise not sure…..As others have said, the smell is quite strong.
