Accurate, sleek, no batteries needed
This little device is actually handy. I use it in my Airbnb to keep an eye on room temperature and humidity considering were in Texas and humidity in houston is no joke, it’s been super reliable. The display is clear and easy to read, I like that it’s solar-powered so no batteries to change (unlike my prior ones) which is a huge plus when managing multiple rooms and floors. It is compact so blends in nicely with any decor. The readings seem accurate and it updates quickly. Guests know’s the room conditions especially during seasonal changes. If you’re looking for a simple, eco-friendly way to monitor indoor climate, this one does the job beautifully.

works as expected
I bought this temperature gauge over the summer to keep an eye on AC use.It seems to work well, allowing me to know when to adjust the temperature in my environment (in an attempt to keep electricity costs down). Im sure this will be useful in the winter as well.while I have no scientific way of knowing if the humidty is correct, I agree When the with the smiley facial symbol it chooses, once you go over 50% it starts to change to less than a smily face, the higher it gets the more sad it is is, lolA noticeable change when the AC is one (which often also lowers Humidity as well) so thats my only way of checking on that. No problems with Display Brightness , and I find the size perfect. its hanging on my wall, far enough away from the cooler, and away from my couch, to see from across the room.Overall, It gets sunlight and has a battery, so I assume it will last at least a year, if not longer. xAs far as overall accuracy it’s good enough for my sized living room its in. (about 500 sq feet)Overall a good deal for the price to help keep energy costs down and environment comfortable to your liking.

Great and affordable hygrometer and thermometer (And it’s solar powered)
Great product at a great price. The only critique I would give it is that there is no way to reset the values and I’m not sure what time period it holds them before getting reset. Normally this isn’t an issue since you would just take out the battery, but there isn’t an easy way to get to the rechargeable battery inside. To me, this is important enough to knock off a star, but not a deal breaker in certain cases. But if you don’t need to reset the historical values, this is perfect.

Comes with AAA battery.
These units work great and do exactly what they advertise. I lined up all three in the same space and their temperature readings varied +/- 1~2 degrees between the three units. But the humidity % readings all matched. What the ad is vague about is that it comes with an internal AAA battery that has a plastic pull strip which you remove to activate. It runs on solar, but requires a fair amount of light to power it up. So at night or in a dim room, you will need to pull the plastic strip out to activate the battery. Theoretically, if you turn on the lights when entering the room, the unit will quickly recover and power up to work thereby not requiring the use of the battery if you wish not to.I suspect, that if you place this unit in a room that has daylight, the battery may only engage at night thereby allowing the it to last longer. Which is good because cracking the unit open to get to the battery is not easy.We placed these three in different room of our house and were amazed at how different the humidity reading were through out the house. Very usefull and effective to see if your A/C is doing its job.

Nice and inexpensive
Solar power, nice screen size, very affordable little thermostat, it’s nice to have one at my apartment.
Dysnomia –
Not great, takes too long to get reading, bad solar panel design
2.5 starsPros: Easy to read display, relatively accurate, hi and low daily record for humidity and temperature, easy to place on ledges and small surfacesCons: solar panel faces front, which defeats the purpose of being able to place it on a window because it needs to face backwards for the sun to hit it correctly, and it takes forever for the temperature reading to acclimate and get a correct reading if you move it to a new location. Conclusion: You get what you pay for, and unfortunately good room thermometers are expensive. While some things are good, the functionality is lacking. I wouldn’t purchase this again.
