nice working heater, great options to it, really like the programable thermostat/sets different temperatures at different times in the day, works well, puts out pretty good heat, can’t give it a full 5 stars though cause I purchased a new model and they shipped me a clearly used/refurbished model, ultimatly it ended up working fine, but thats just scummy to ship something in a different state that was purchased****UPDATED****Was contacted by seller stating there might have been a shipping error with the warehouse, and they offered for an additional brand new unit to be sent to me at no charge, the additional unit was sent and looks good and functional, great response by the seller

Quiet and Toasty!
Silent, effective, efficient. All I could ask. Built 84sf addition to change exposure of front door. The space has no heat, but open to the house through previous door frame. This is an ideal solution. Completely silent, as warm as I want it. At 8000 ft elevation, it’s plenty cold outside. This did the trick.

Excellent to heat specific area, great smart phone app
We use this heater in our kitchen nook area to stay warm while eating, and it’s been a great fit for our needs. Our kitchen opens into a larger family room, but the heater works very well for the dining space. The app and scheduling features were the main reasons we chose this model, and they’re much better than similar heaters we’ve owned before. We previously had another smart heater that was eventually recalled, and we couldn’t find anything comparable until Ballu. So far, it’s been a solid product that meets all our needs.

Quiet and very good heating
I love this heater! We’ve only been using it a week but are very dependent on it. Our family room windows are on the northbside where the cold air from a mountain seems to drom down directly in through our windows. This unit takes that nip out of the room. We actually had to drop our thermostate a few degrees. No noise, no fan, radient heat is just perfect! The remote works for us but the controller is right on top and easily accessible in case the remote ever stoos working. We’ve kept ours on 70 ever since we received it. Not sure how hot the back may be but there is a plastic handle on the back top which you can easily lift. You can roll it back and forth on the base wheels as well. I love the sleek modern design.

I have a guest bedroom in the basement, and one of my worries when someone stays with me over the colder months is whether they’re warm enough. I have a tall house (3 storeys plus basement), so it doesn’t help to turn up the furnace – it just makes the upper storeys warm, and it raises my gas bill.When I saw this Ballu Mica Infrared heater, I did some research before actually deciding to order it as I was unfamiliar with mica infrared technology. After getting info and deliberating, I decided to give this a try. It’s not cold yet so I can only assess based on initial trial. The upcoming winter will be the true test and I’ll update this review with further experience.What I like so far:- Lightweight, slim profile and portable. It has a handle, and if I have a guest staying in the guest bedroom, they can also wheel it into the bathroom to use there if they feel cold. (The heater comes with a stand with wheels. It can also be wall mounted, but I prefer having it be more portable.)- Quiet operation. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this is. There is almost no noise. Considering it’s being used in a bedroom, it’s an important feature.- Heats up fast. Literally in a minute, it can get to the set temperature.- Can pair with Alexa although I’ve not tried that or the app yet.- Has safety features. The heater is ETL rated – Very important for something that heats up. Also anti-tip feet and overheat protection.What’s I don’t like so far:- A “burning” smell. I think this is because the heater is new? I hope it dissipates over multiple uses.- I feel as though the heating is uneven. I think that’s the fact of infrared / radiant heating – it feels warm in front of the machine but the air doesn’t feel as warm. The room is less than 200 sq ft and is insulated, with 2 interior walls and 2 exterior walls. It’ll require experimenting to identify the ideal placement – my first try was at the side of the room which warmed up half the room more than the other.- Came with a remote without batteries. However, there are buttons on top of the heater for manual control.I am not a fan of winter months, but with this heating, I do look forward to giving this heater a good run to see if it works well over the long term, when used for several hours a day.

Il est arrivé à la maison aujourd’hui je vien d’ouvrir la boîte aucune patte dans la boîte et puis lorsque je l’ai connectée sa prend énormément de temps avant qu’il vienne chaud et pas extrêmement chaud je suis déçu de mon achat malheureusement.
