Great product.
They work perfectly and they still do, and it’s been some time now since the purchase. When I need more, which will be soon, I will buy them again. I use them in my reptile enclosures now, and also I used them first in an incubator to measure the temps and humidity within the containers the eggs were in vs the temp of the ambient air in the incubator. I used them to double check if the incubator itself was accurate, and also to see the temps of different shelves. Once hatched they are now montoring enclosures. Great product at a very affordable price. If u have reptiles, u know how expensive these creatures can be if u really want them to have a very good and enriching and stimulating roomy hm. It’s nice to catch a brk and still get a quality product. U can use gorilla duct tape, just cut into a few sm strips and u can near about use that tape on any surface and it’s sticking. Then hook it to the side of the enclosure or to exactly where u want it, even on a hide. U could do it a certain way as to make a loop pocket to slip the sensor into without sticking the tape to the sensor itself as it’s pretty sticky. Jusy a little ways down from both ends, make a slit in the tape a little ways down on each side in the same place, but don’t cut the piece of tape in half. Fold the inner part together sticky side to sticky side. Now the ends will be like 2 sm shoe strings. U can size it to ur needs if u need more grip at the top. It will be like a loop u stick to the wall or whatever, but ut would be very convenient if they had that little feature of coming with some simple holder. But u can either hide the sm square reader portion somewhere in the terranium nearby and easily disguise or hide it a bit, or it’s got a long enough cord for u to run out of the enclosure to put them all on top of ur tank and make like a little mother board all ordered and/or labeled so as to know which is where and reading what, and then only have to glance one place to see them all. I like that they are sm and inconspicuous as pos instead of big and noticeable circle styled ones. The only way they could be better is to be wireless lol. Well worth the purchase.

Used for hermit crab habitat
You get three new meters from the same company, and they still don’t all agree on the humidity. In all fairness, I have had numerous types and brands of meters, but only one gave an accurate humidity reading.I always perform a 24-hour salt calibration test to see just how far off they are before using. It is a good habit to get into if you rely on humidity levels for whatever your hobby may be. Look on YouTube for instructions.I’ve purchased six of these inexpensive little meters, which usually run 2-4% off in either direction. I have also used $20-$30 meters that were 9% off.I actually prefer these because they have the separate sensor, and the meter can stay outside of the habitat. The 80% humidity requirements in a hermit crab habitat seem to shorten the lifespan of digital meters and I have had a few where the readouts went wonky too soon (entire meter was inside the habitat).

These are not accurate, do not buy if you need accuracy.
These thermometers had different readings directly out of the box. I decided to give them some time to adjust before determining if they were accurate or not. This picture was taken after 10 minutes of sitting completely still in the same position/place. They all have different temperature readings, and none of them have the same reading as my accurate thermometer. My other thermometer has been tested and was proven to be accurate. The humidity is reading the same on all three, although I don’t have a way of testing the accuracy on that. I don’t know whether to trust it or not.Depending on what you are monitoring, you may not want to buy these. They will not work for me because my animals rely on perfect conditions, and I cannot trust these to give me a perfect reading. If you are able to deal with a slightly off reading (within a degree or two), these are a good deal for the price. They are very easy to use but do not come with suction cups to hold in place, which makes them slightly harder to use than other brands. That’s why I gave it 3 stars in that category.I didn’t have high hopes for these due to the price, but after reading other reviews, I was hoping I would get lucky. Unfortunately, I can’t use them and will be returning them for something better.

2 of the 3 work.
Out of the three I received, 2 of them work perfectly. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the other one is measuring. The temp portion works and is accurate, but the humidity reading is way off. Its sad because I need to buy more

Great value, accurate and recommended
These have been working great. I have 21 rescue critters of varying species who require all different temperatures and humidity levels so these probe style have helped. I texted with hand held heat gun and probe they seem pretty accurate and consistent. They are a great size, easy to read display. Fahrenheit or Celsius easy little button to change that, so far batteries last as well. The wire is plenty long to put where you need it then mount the display where you need it to see easily. Looks nice in and on the enclosures. I even use one for the feeder insect colony I keep.

Hay variación entre la humedad y no viene en grados centígrados..
