Important to stress that this is not quilted in any way, and is not thick. It is a fairly standard mattress protector that I bought on sale for $30. I was happy with it for that price point but the non-sale price I might feel differently about.Bamboo cotton protector – helps keep everything keen and easily washabale over time. Great stretchy (but tight) corners so it grips your mattress.

Finally, a mattress protector that is actually deep enough to accommodate my thick mattress and mattress topper!I was hesitant to buy a waterproof one though as I’ve had a waterproof mattress protector in the past and it was awful and plasticky and made lots of noise whilst making me sweat to death!Not this one. It couldn’t be more opposite. There is no noise from it, no extra heat produced by it, it’s an extremely well made, quality piece.Having said that, I wouldn’t know how waterproof it is, as I didn’t buy it for that being the main reason.I just liked the fact it was bamboo and deep enough for my bed, and a good price of course. It is just a bonus with the added protection if anything is spilt etc.It has washed well and it hasn’t shrunk at all. I also worried that it could come out melted from the heat of the wash, as I’ve had that happen experience too, but thankfully it didn’t!I may get a few more of them for backups and other beds in the house.
