Felt like quicksand
I had high hopes that this topper would make our thin, firm, RV mattress feel better, but it did quite the opposite. This topper is too soft, does not recover well. We both felt trapped, like it sank beneath us to the point it was a struggle to roll over or change position; and that struggle caused terrible back and shoulder aches. We had to remove it after less than hour on our first night camping. It had no odor, and expanded very well, it just was way too soft and squishy.
