I used these in a checkerboard pattern with 2 colors in my son’s room computer/gaming area. They look fantastic and it drastically reduced the amount of “BRO”s and “6-7”s I’m forced to endure from down the hall

Pretty good if not using to freeform.
They stick well and do a good enough job at absorbing sound but holy hell are they not easy to cut. Trying to freeform a wall is miserable. I tried using scissors and a razor knife and neither one of them cut it well for long.

Looks great, especially for the price. Pretty easy to cut and install, just make sure you’re 100% sure where you want them placed. I don’t think these are coming off without ripping the paint and dry wall off.

I love all the colors that are available for these. You can mix and match to create your own designs.These are fairly well designed and made with a combination of materials of a decent quality. For the current price of $46 for a 12 pack, they’re less than 4 dollars a tile. You can save a bit with a pack of 22 for $80. They have a decent adhesive, but make sure you have a clean, dry wall to stick them to. You can arrange the pattern in multiple ways for different effects. The included instructions show several tessellations you can make.First, these aren’t going to allow you to create a soundproof room. At best it will deaden the echoes that you get from flat walls and give the feeling of a more enclosed area where voices are clearer and there is some muffling of the outside sounds.Still, these are very good because of the material and the design. The felt-like cloth as well as the intentional grooves in the tiles absorb sounds and prevent them from reflecting back into the room.Each panel is 12″ x 12″ so you’ll need to plan out your room to figure out how many you’ll need. I’d recommend a small room simply because you won’t need as many panels. Something like a walk-in closet would work very well.You’ll notice the results, even if you only line part of a wall close to where you’re speaking. It will help if you’re doing any kind of speaking into a studio microphone. Looking up ways to mount these on the wall will give you more ideas on how to prevent the sound from getting out (or in).You can get better soundproofing, but it can get expensive. The best soundproofing is made up of long foam triangles lined along every wall, floor and ceiling. But that kind of thing can get expensive and is usually reserved for studying sounds. You don’t need 100% soundproofing to get studio quality sound. These will go a long way to get you there.Overall, the price is great for the quality you are getting. Five stars.

Wall Panels That Look Great And Seriously Help The Noise Level
I’ve needed some acoustic paneling for my bedroom door, for quite some time! Unfortunately the doors in my home are extremely thin. Sound easily travels through even from the other side of the house. Getting a 12 pack of these panels wasn’t enough to cover my door completely as you can tell from my photos. However, it did provide a decent amount of sound dampening. I fully expect it’ll be much more noticeable once I grab some more and finish up the job!These came in a nice neat stacked shipment. Sadly three of the panels did have a small dent in them. It isn’t all that noticeable though. They’re actually very thick and sturdy! The size on these are great as well. The paper backing you take off to allow the adhesive to stick is super easy to remove. Didn’t have any issues with that at all when peeling them off. The panels stuck right away too! Barely even needed pressure for them to stay on well enough. Though I did make sure to press all over each one just to be sure! (It is instructed that you do this, as well!)There was no real smell to these from what I could tell. I know some manufacturer’s brands for wall paneling can have certain odors to them. Perhaps a more sensitive nose could smell something. For me personally? I don’t believe these had a scent at all. The white color was pretty much perfect for blending into my room with the white door and walls. It looks great as well!Looking forward to picking up some more to finish off this door! The fact that you can cut these up along the lines is a big bonus too. I won’t have to try and squeeze in whole panels with the leftover spots.Well worth it overall! Can’t go wrong with these acoustic panels!

Stylish, effective sound dampening panels
Picked up these acoustic foam panels mainly to tame some echo, and they do the job pretty well for a casual setup. The patterned fabric exterior gives them a more finished look than bare foam, so they blend in nicely. I like that the panels aren’t very thick, so they don’t feel like a protrusion from the wall.The adhesive backing holds up fine when applied on a cleaned wall. There was also no strong chemical smell from the foam panels when opening the package, which made having them in my room pleasant from day one.In terms of performance, they dampened room noise and reduced some of the echo compared to my bare wall, which is exactly what was needed, but they are more about sound dampening than full-on soundproofing.
