Good when it works, Stressful when it doesn’t
I really wanted to love these Cync GE Smart Bulbs and when they behave, they’re awesome. The app setup mostly works and is pretty simple, but every now and then one bulb develops an independent personality and refuses to connect. The voice control is fun (when it listens), and the color options definitely set the mood. Still, I didn’t expect to argue with my lighting this often. When everything syncs, it’s great, bright, efficient, and genuinely cool tech. But between the random disconnects and app hiccups, I can only give it a solid “nice try” 3/5. It’s smart… just not as smart as it thinks it is.

Easy to use, A lot of color and brightness options
I love these so much that I wish I could afford to replace all of my lightbulbs with these.They were easy to install, and the app is incredibly easy to use. It was easy to connect them to my Google Home and the commands work really well. I have three in my living room, and I can turn all of them on or off at once or just one at a time.Not only do you have the different daylight options which are absolutely incredible and well done, but there is a color wheel that allows you to really customize the color if you prefer to have a color option. There are also a limited number of flashing light options available. I tested out party and Christmas, and they were really funThese bulbs do not get hot which is always a fear with special types of lightbulbs, but after being on for hours, they are still cool to touch.

Just What I Needed.
Love them. The app is easy to use and provides perfect soft or bright lighting in our living room. Placed one in our hurricane lamp to help illuminate our favorite painting and the soft light flowing up really makes the painting pop. The multi-colors are a nice novelty from time to time, but the soft yellow and ability to dim these bulbs to just the right level depending on our needs is great.

Easy to set up, convenient to use
I bought two of these just to try them out and I’ve been so happy with them, I just bought two more. Some other smart lights I have tried out (Philips Hue) use Bluetooth only (unless you buy a proprietary smart hub for $80), but these Cync bulbs use wi-fi and work with Google Home without having to buy a hub. These are very easy to set up! The Cync app is great, has all sorts of fun color effects, and also has the ability to create “routines.” However, since I am mostly just doing on/off or bright/dim at specific times of day, I found it easier to use Google Home app to automate these. That app will also let you adjust the color, but it won’t do the special effects. And since it connects over wi-fi instead of Bluetooth, you can control the lights from anywhere over the internet. I can even control the lights with my smart watch. With Bluetooth, you have to be a short distance away from the light, and it can be a pain to connect.

A nice quality of life upgrade to my home.
I’ve been buying these lightbulbs for various locations when the need comes up. I continue to buy this specific model because I can manage all my GE smart devices from the app. Out of the maybe 12-15 light bulbs I have, one has died. It happened to be one of the first ones I purchased about 4.5 years ago. When it died, I called GE and they replaced it. We love the color changing and ability to easily go back and forth between a color-wheel of sorts, and a warmth/coolness slider in case you don’t want vibrant green lights all the time. I give the bulbs four stars because the app itself could use improvement and can be buggy. Also, sometimes the bulbs will show offline even though they’re not, and if you try to turn it on, off, and back on again, it’ll work. Often there’s a 2-5 second delay from the toggle to the bulb, which is to be expected with bluetooth delay. If you have to factory reset these bulbs, that can also be challenging since you have to correctly turn them off and on in correct timing to do so. Other than those few minor gripes, they do what I need and are a nice quality of life upgrade to my home, and a fun little spice to my game room.

Did not work as promised, Poor quality control—do not buy
Box came beat up and visibly worn with dusty lightbulbs inside that could not be discovered by my Cync app. They worked as lightbulbs, but not as smart lightbulbs as advertised. Very disappointed because my previous experience with a Cync bulb had been great—will not be purchasing these from Amazon again due to extremely poor quality control.

Color!!!!!
What a fun find! I was looking for a smart bulb to replace one that had finally burnt out. I was unable to find the exact bulb I had purchased years ago, so took a chance on this one not realizing its color benefits. Imagine my delight when I realized I was able to change the bulb to multiple colors just using my voice. It was super simple to install. The app instructions were easy to follow and walked me through each step of the way with no problem. Having a bulb that can change to whatever color I might be feeling at the time just adds a little pop of happiness to my day and to the room! It might sound silly, but I plan to gift these to everyone I know! These are a win!

Tienen un excelente factor costo-beneficio.El hecho de que sean “matter over wifi” ayuda bastante cuando ya se tiene una red mesh en cada, ya que tienen cobertura y no se tequiere de un hub adicional como en los focos zigbee para controlarlo completamente con Alexa.Tienen también muy buena variabilidad en la intensidad, ya que si bajan bastante cuando se ponen al 1%
