A MUST when you live with a GAMER!
This was PERFECT and a great investment. The panels come compressed in plastic, so after waiting 48 hours for them to puff up to their size, it was go time. We used 5 stickers on each panel (corners, center) and mounted them. The stickers came with a tab so it was easy to peel them off and mount them. We did run out of stickers using 5 on each, so order more stickers, but make sure you get the ones with the tab. It worked wonders and cut down the noise from my son screaming at his game with his friends.

Good bulk soundproofing for the price
Works as advertised. The adhesive is mostly adequate, though some tiles fell after mounting them and had to be stuck back up. Some of the edges came a bit crimped together (even after letting sit to expand) but I did not need every single tile, so I discarded the ones that were damaged. Also, be aware if mounting on the ceiling that they tend to flake a bit of dust while mounting, so wear eye protection.

spent forever putting these up just for ALL of the adhesives to give out. gonna have to spend more money and another couple hours to get them to stay up.

They work but the stickers don’t stick to the foam very well, even with 5 holding the weight of the square. I had to super glue every single one to the foam so the square didn’t fall off. If you’re up to do that, mine are still up after a couple years without any issues

Worked great lowering window/traffic noise!
I packed (2 tiles/square) of these into my bedroom windows at my apartment (the street traffic was driving me crazy!) and it made a huge difference in the amount of street traffic I hear!!! I’m thrilled! I wasn’t sure if it was going to work because so many reviews said it’s not for this kind of use.. but, I figured, sound is sound right? I’m sooooo glad I took the gamble! It’s not completely soundproof of course.. I’ll still hear the occasional loud azz motorcycle every once in a while… but compared to what I was dealing with – the difference is night and day! I am very happy with these – going to get even more for my walls to drown out the outside sounds even more. 🤗 Yayyy!

Don’t think that you are purchasing studio quality material as this is less than that. At this price point, you are receiving decent quality that will reduce some level of sound, but what it really does well is reduce reverberations of sound in your space.I purchased this to improve the acoustics of my 10×8 music room and if it happens to stop some sound from reaching my neighbors, then good for them.Because I wasn’t believing I was purchasing pro level product, I wasn’t disappointed. Yes, there were some tiles that were deformed from the vacuum packing process, there were so few that it’s a non-issue.

Vacuum packed into a small bag. They will expand to 5 times its size. Do remember to let it settle for a day or 2, according to the instructions, before installation.
