Shapes up nicely and is a good value for the size you get
It arrived rolled up and vacuum packed. We chose the “unroll and let it take shape” method over the “put it in the drier” method. It should work just fine in the application for which it was bought. Out of the package, it appeared to shape up quickly and nicely. It did have a bit of a smell, so we put it in an attached storage room outside.

This soundproofing was absolutely fantastic. Years ago when building my recording Studios, I used to spend thousands of dollars to create what I was able to buy for $32 every two panels. These panels would’ve cost me so much more 20 years ago. Now you can make a recording studio on a dime.

Hangs easily and dampens sound pretty well. But they didn’t cut the pieces straight at the factory so it’s hard to eyeball a straight line when you cut it. Instead of being able to follow a row of bumps or a row of troughs, you have to figure out a way to mark your line on the back and it’s not easy to mark. Otherwise, it does the trick pretty well.

Good quality
Good quality foam, used it for making new insulation for my snowmobile hood inside, attached it with spray adhesive, so far so good. Leftover piece I put on my truck seat for the long drive to Northwest Montana. That also worked well.
