Great Customer Service Matters
Updated Review: I bought this unit a few days ago and initially liked its quiet operation and efficiency. However, I soon noticed a serious flaw: water leaked from the base of the three and a half gallons container. It appeared the bottom of the container was not a solid, single piece, and the snap-on/ glued plastic base seemed to be the source of every puddle forming at the base. This issue made me concerned about reliability and cleanliness, and it was disappointing to see water pooling around the unit.What turned this experience around was the company’s exceptional customer service. They reached out to me promptly and stood by their product. They sent me a replacement. That proactive, hassle-free handling transformed a negative first impression into a completely positive one.In the end, I’m rating this product 5 stars, not for the initial design flaw, but for the outstanding support I received. The resolution showed me that the company stands behind its products and values customer satisfaction. If you’re considering this model, know that their customer service can genuinely turn a rough start into a strong endorsement.As far as the actual unit. I like it. Very quiet (both units were), easy to fill with a one gallon jug, It puts out about a gallon every 8-10 hours on high setting. I normally add a gallon in the morning and one at night. I don’t rely on the humidity sensor, it reads higher than my other hygrometer but seems stable so if I did need it, I could adjust it to whatever that is and not get hung up on “exact”. It is enough for a large room. It isn’t powerful enough to produce storm clouds inside but it is good value at this price point.

Gunk and motor issues after two months, not “self cleaning”
UPDATE:After posting my review Nexva support was incredibly quick to reach out to me and work for resolve the issues I was having. They have exceptional product support and immediately offered to send me a full replacement. I appreciate their outstanding support.——————ORIGINALIt works well, but for whatever reason this this is a magnet for nastiness.Under features it says “Self-Cleaning tank” and on the control panel even features a “UV Lamp”. I have no idea how the tank could possibly be cleaning itself or how the UV lamp could be sterilizing the water if it accumulates this merky gunk in the top of the unit.I’ve only had the unit for two months. I used it constantly without it remaining stagnant for any period. And I’ve never added anything except fresh water, which I regularly refill and replace.I have never tried to use the diffuser feature because it wasn’t really for me, but accordingly I never looked in the top part of the tank….The unit was working well independently for a couple months with me just refilling it. Until today when I heard the pump or motor something making an awful loud noise (it was >half full of water and on low, so I didn’t know why it would make that sound). But it sounded like the motor was failing. When I opened the unit to investigate I saw the algae and gunk.If the unit was truly self cleaning and really had a UV Lamp there would’ve been no way for it to develop that nasty gunk in it. Unfortunately I think this was an expensive way to find out this thing isn’t for me.

Good humidifier
Humidifier was packaged nicely and assembled easily.The unit has a large 3.5 gallon tank, however the water level viewing window only shows the top half of the tank from 7-13 Liters. Once the water level goes below 7L, or halfway, you can’t see how much water is in the tank.The display looks great and shows temperature, %RH setpoint, and the actual %RH. The temperature seems to be about 4-5 degrees lower than other thermometers in my home. The %RH also seems to be 7% below other humidity meters that I’m using.I have been running the unit continuously for three days and it has raised the humidity level in my 1,200 sqft lower level about 8%. I’d like to raise it another 7%, but I’m not sure that this unit will be able to pump enough moisture in the air with my central heating system running.Overall, I’m satisfied with this unit and believe that it would work better in a smaller area.

Could use another form of indication of water level, hard to see water level unless lamp is shining directly as side. Awesome capacity, I fill it twice a week in a 1,100 ft 2 apt.

Great Humidifier
Highly recommend this humidifier. Quiet and holds a couple days worth of water… the optional tank lighting makes it easy to see where the water level is at. Sleek and slim… easy to have in almost any area without taking up a lot of room!

Edit:The seller reached out to me after my review and gave me a full refund. Great customer service.I am still not able to use this humidifier, because we have unfiltered, hard, water. I have been told that filtered or distilled water is necessary with this one. As I originally posted, the humidifier worked fine! It just left an awful, dusty film in my whole house.I really wanted to love this! As far as humidity, it was fine, but it leaves a dusty-type film all over the house. I had to dust (including the actual humidifier itself) every single day, and we finally turned it off and the dust is gone.

UPDATE: Nexva got a hold of me after my last review. They wanted to make it right, So they offered me a full return or a new one in its place. I went for the new one. They sent it out to me free of charge. It has been running non stop for the last four days now. I my wife and I love it. Hoping it last longer than the last one. But thanks, Nexva for the great customer support.Pros: Large Capacity, Large Room and run time, Quiet operations and has UV setting, Has tray in back you can pull out to add oils, and easy fill.Cons: Power cord on side instead of back, Mister stopped working about 6 weeks in, Control board stopped working 10 weeks in. Its still running just can’t adjust anything. It does not even respond to the remote.
