This monitor is both attractive and practical. It can monitor the room’s temperature, humidity, and harmful gases in real time, and I really like it. Families with babies deserve to have this.

Nice overview of the air
Nice little unit that’s at least a rough idea of what’s going on with the air.I don’t have anything to compare with, but just breathing on it affects the CO2, and blowing out a match on it raises the PM sensor and that’s a good enough indication for meThe only quality knock is it feels fairly basic in build quality, which is fine by me.The main thing though is this is just a real time monitor, with no connectivity for alerts, tracking, logging, etc… so if you want those features then it’s the wrong unit for you.If however you just want to see whats going on in the moment, it fits the bill.The one other thing, in the manual it suggests that it shouldn’t be left on all the time which to me is an annoyance, I’m not turning it off. But… You could put a timer on it to solve that.

Sunant 16 in 1 Indoor Air Quality Monitor – Big Screen and Easy Setup, but the math ain’t mathin’
I picked this up because I wanted to keep an eye on the air quality in my home office without having to mess with a phone app or a WiFi connection. I already had one, but it was finicky and required the internet. The 7-inch screen on this is the best part—it is very easy to read from across the room, and I like that I can adjust the brightness so it doesn’t blind me at night when I’m trying to wind down.I tested it for about a week and compared the temperature and humidity readings against my other thermometer and humidity detector. It seems fairly close to my other device on those basics. The setup was simple and it stays upright on my desk perfectly without any wobbling. It even comes with the right USB cable and power brick, so you don’t have to go hunting for a spare. There is a tiny fan inside that you can hear if the room is totally silent, but it is very quiet and does not bother me at all during the day or night. Basically anything else happening in the room will drown it out.My biggest issue is the ’16-in-1′ claim. This is a bit of a joke because it only actually monitors 9 things. They are counting the alert buzzers as individual features to inflate the number. I really don’t like that kind of marketing, and it feels like they are trying to trick people who aren’t reading the fine print. Also, when I looked at other monitors that do the exact same thing, this one is priced significantly higher than the competition. You can find the other AQI monitors from many other brands for a lot less, and some of those even don’t use misleading math to sell you on features.Overall, it works as a basic monitor and the display is great, but the value is poor and the advertising is a bit of a reach. I’d recommend looking for a cheaper alternative unless you absolutely need this specific screen size.

Detailed indoor air monitor that’s easy to read and use
Ever since buying a new home, I’ve been obsessed with learning about how healthy the house really is. This indoor air quality monitor provides a lot of useful information in one device. It’s perfect for monitoring air quality and is a good reminder to sometimes let the house air out; especially with how tightly newer homes are built. The large display makes it easy to see all readings at a glance without navigating through complicated menus. It tracks CO2, HCHO, TVOC, PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, temperature, humidity, AQI, and time, and the data refreshes quickly, which helps you notice changes in air quality almost immediately.If it ever detects levels too high, it will also give an audible noise. The built-in alert system is helpful, especially with multiple alert modes and the option to mute when needed. Switching between °F and °C is simple, and adjusting the time format is straightforward. It works best when plugged in for continuous monitoring, but the battery backup is a nice feature for short-term portability. Overall, it’s a practical and informative device for monitoring indoor air in a home at a decent price.

16-in-1??? Hardly!
This air quality monitor does look good and seems to work. I have nothing else to compare the accuracy with so I’ll take it that this is giving accurate readings. The big issue I have is in the marketing. If you are expecting to get 16 air quality items monitored you will be disappointed. From the description, “Note: “16-in-1″ refers to the combination of 9 detectable parameters plus 7 AQI alert types.” So this is really only 9, not 16, a little misleading if you don’t read carefully.This comes with a charging block and cord. It was fully charge when it arrived so I was able to test it right out of the box. The display is easy to read and has 3 brightness settings. (I’m surprised they didn’t count those 3 brightness settings and call this a 19-in-1!) It would have been really nice if this had a carbon monoxide reading included but it doesn’t.This has had several price adjustments, $119.99, then $99.99 when I ordered it and currently $69.99. There are lots of air quality monitors to choose from, probably with more features and a better price. I would shop around if I were going to get another one.

AQI will frown at you if there’s any smoke.
Bright easy to read display is nice, though I’m somewhat ignorant on some of the things this air quality monitor is tracking. It definitely gives a ping anytime someone has smoked any form of cannabis around it in my small (500 sq ft) apartment, giving an audible beep and a frowny face. Similarly, a little smoke from my skillet, about 30 ft away, will give a frowny face as well as a notice to open some windows / circulate some air. So, it’s at least doing something. I just plugged it in and set the time, so set up was easy. I have no particulate matter testers to validate any numbers this unit provides, so I can’t determine it’s accuracy beyond it generally noticing particulate matter. Interesting little doodad.
