Good quality!
I got the two pack, I wanted to see the quality before I bought more, and they are nice! They look cool and are 2” thick. These are not for sound proofing, only for sound dampening, to stop the sound from bouncing everywhere. They do the job. These come packaged compressed but it’s no big deal, open the package up and they pop into shape in no time, I just left them over night spread out and then they are good to go, the instructions said you could get them wet then put them in the dryer but I didn’t do that at all. In the past in other rooms I’ve had the little squares and I’d need a whole bunch of them and piece them together. These are much better and cover more area, I’ll only need like four more panels to do the job. I’ll be purchasing more of these exact panels and I’d recommend them!

QUALITY MATERIAL BUT NOT 48X24X2 AS ADVERTISED AND THAT’S FINE
WELL … DECEIVING DESCRIPTION FOR SURE – I DID EVERYTHING CORRECTLY IN LETTING THEM SETTLE FOR 48 HOURS TO EXPAND TO THIR FULLEST AS DESCRIBED – 48X24X2 … WELL … THEY’RE 46 X 23 X ALMOST 2 INCHES HIGH. OK, SO THEY’RE NOT ACTUALLY 48X24X2, BUT THAT’S OK FOR THE MOST PART – YOU PUT YOUR WOODEN BORDERS AROUND THEM AND YOU’RE FINE – IT’S THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIAL THAT YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT AND THESE ARE OF GOOD QUALITY FOR SURE ! THE THICKNESS ALSO – THEY ARE 2 INCHES THICK AND THAT’S VERY IMPORTANT – SO THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE LESS DECEPTIVE ON THE FULLY EXPANDED SIZES THAT THEY ADVERTISE AND JUST BE HONEST AND UP FRONT THAT SOMETIMES THEY WILL NOT FULLY EXPAND TO A FULL 48X24X2 … AND I’D STILL BUY THESE !! I HAD WONDERED IF THEY’D STAND UP ON THEIR OWN WHEN LEANED AGAINST SOMETHING BUT THEY WON’T, AS THEY’RE A BIT FLIMSY BUT AGAIN , THAT’S FINE.

Works great!
My company just moved into a new office, and just like most offices, the soundproofing barely exists. One can hear conversations very clearly from the next room. So I bought this foam stuff, and as it turns out, each individual square is 2″x2″. The window frame on our offices are 2″ wide. So I cut long strips, and stuffed them onto the window frame, all along the top to the bottom (on each side), in all of the rooms. If you don’t mind a punk choker look, it works great! The sounds are muted, which is perfect.

Perfect fit for my iso-booth
I highly recommend these foam panels for soundproofing an area. I use this for my 4x4x7 vocal booth. After many years of using my booth, I needed to re-foam it but I wanted the foam to be fire retardant. This foam is 2 inches thick, easy to install, and is fire retardant. I stapled them to the wall in addition to glue dots and it’s on there. Really good product and they even shipped more to me the same day. Not sure if that’s for everywhere but for where I am, this is awesome. Highly recommended.

10 out of 10
Very thick. Excellent quality. I’m using it for my isolation room/vocal room for recording bands and singers. The poor reviews on here are from people that don’t understand that this does not stop sound from entering or exiting a room. This stops reflections and echo in the room. Soundproofing comes from insulation in the walls ( Rockwool)

Good for sound control within room.
These worked nicely for my application, which was to deaden sound within the room. I wouldn’t attempt to use these for sound proofing between rooms.

Effective at sound absorption — if you keep your expectations realistic
I understand that the seller would include the word “soundproof” in the product description because that is what people will likely search for in trying to find something like this. However, it is important to note that acoustic foam is really not a sound-proofing tool — rather, it is an acoustic treatment tool, meant to reduce reverberations and echoes (thereby improving the quality of audio in recordings, talking on the phone / on video chat, etc.). Granted, it does this by absorbing some of the sound (that is, if it is placed properly), but that is simply not going to lead to a zero-sound situation. With that in mind, this foam is effective when placed at first reflection points (in my case, in my home office, these points are particular locations along the side walls, ceiling, and on the wall behind the desk). The effect is a slight reduction in the amount of echo heard in the mic.But keep in mind that adding this sort of acoustic foam is merely one step that should be taken to effectively condition the sound quality of the room. This means additional cost, so it is great to be able to get acoustic foam at this price.Regarding installation, I used a glue gun and it made quick work of mounting the foam. Some advice, however, would be to mount the foam on panels of some kind (a plastic poster board, perhaps) and to then use removable/reusable wall-mount tabs to attach the panels to the wall. This way, if you decide to move your room around (or move your place of living), you can simply bring your foam with you.To summarize, understand what you’re ordering, research how to actually apply it, and you’ll find great value in this product.

Excellent 2×4 foam acoustic panels
Delivery was fast. Just open and came back few hours later and was fully opened and ready to hang. Don’t read others telling you to put in water and hang dry. If you want a real quick fix is to put in a dryer on very light heat and tumble for a few minutes. But I’m sure they won’t tell you that
