Surprisingly effective and a fantastic value!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Bought this to help dampen echo in my home office/game room, and it’s made a noticeable difference. The size is generous (really is extra large), and the grommets make hanging it on the wall incredibly easy. It feels sturdy and heavy-duty—great for reducing background noise during calls or just making movies sound cleaner. Also does a solid job blocking out light. For the price, it beats expensive foam panels by a mile. Highly recommend for a quick and effective acoustic fix.

Just what we needed for the loud games
Needed something to help block the sound from the office/game room to the bedroom and so glad we decided to try this. Nice quality blankets that help with the sound and look nice still. Thick Black with nice stitching. Easy to hang.

durable grommets for hanging the blankets
I use this for sound dampening for music recording projects. The fabric is very tough and durable. You couldn’t easily tear or rip it if you tried. I was very happy with how long they are as they extend to the floor. Everything feels durable and the hooks and accessories are thick metal. The grommets are really tough and make it so everything is easier to use. Truly, they are way nicer to hang compared to others I have used. They make an obvious difference in sound dampening, though for my project I could have used more. I would suggest this for smaller recording rooms. Otherwise, I would suggest something slightly thicker. They were packaged well and arrived in good condition.

Decent but not amazing sound dampening. Definitely NOT soundproof.
There is definitely a reduction in low frequency rumble by using these sound drapes. They are definitely not soundproof but I’m guessing they reduce trabsoent sounds by about 4-6dB. (But I haven’t measured) I’d strongly suggest that anyone wanting to decrease sound leakage in recordings attached the drapes to a track as close to the ceiling as possible. Also, don’t forget to cover any reflective surface (i.e. hardwood or smooth) flooring or ceilings if you have the means. A thick or rubberized mat or series of rugs will definitely help reduce any unwanted noise. (Pic 3)So, overall worth it, but still a bit pricey. Also, the drapes are fairly heavy, so any hanging device should be decently reinforced before hanging. (Pic 2)
