I was looking for something simple to block out noise and dust, and to keep my cats from sticking their paws under the door, and this kit worked great. It comes with several rolls of foam that you insert into the black cover, and then you attach it with the included Velcro strips. It took me less than 5 minutes to install. I like that the fabric is discreet and fits snugly, so it doesn’t move at all. If you have a standard door, you’ll probably have some extra foam left over, but it’s easy to cut with scissors. Highly recommended.”My cats no longer try to stick their paws underneath.”

This door draft stopper came with no instructions. The package included 6 styrofoam, the removable fabric, along with 8 useless velcro’s with adhesive on them. I was able to cut and insert the round styrofoam into the removable fabric very easily. However, since my door is on the narrower side (24 inches), the 3 velcro strips on the removable fabric were too short to be secured. I thought the extra velcros with adhesives on them would resolve this issue but apparently not. They don’t stick to the fabric so it’s most likely for the door which I dont see how that would work either. Due to this, I just ended up folding it twice and just shoved that end under my door on both sides (see pic). Looks a little messy since the velcro’s couldn’t be secured but this did stop the cold draft from coming in from that door. This is decent door draft stopper and it works. However, it’s a bit pricey at the initial selling cost of $13.99. I found similar door stoppers selling for less than $10 at Amazon.

____ The Good: ____* This is a bit of material that goes under the door that attaches a pair of fabirc tubes, each of which can hold 3 of the 6 included foam tubes. (see picture)* This is adjustable, you can stuff the foam tubes into one or both sides, and you can cut the tubes to fit.* It can do the job of stopping drafts in a pinch.____ The Bad: ____* The bottom line is that this is useless for the exterior doors in my house. Some of that does have to do with the way the shims are in my doors, so others might have better luck. But that’s not my only issue.* Part of the way this is supposed to install is via a velcro strip on the underside of the door. That’s incredibly user-hostile design, as to attach such a strip to the bottom of a door, you will need to completely remove said door from it’s hinges, install the velcro and then reinstall the door. This is not a task I want to do to an exterior door in January or February, when I want to be sealing winter drafts, not leaving a door all the way open to temperatures well below freezing.* The fabric holder sleeves are made from cheap nylon that seems poorly sewn, with loose threads visible right out of the box.* The fabric sleeves fit the tubes very very loosely, and don’t do a great job of holding them in place.* This is also a hair magnet. If you have pets, this will collect their shedding and look scuzzy.
