Maybe it’s placebo, but I like them
These are great for the price. I let them sit for a few hours when I first opened them, then did ten minutes in the dryer and they were ready to go. The sticky patches that come with them don’t really do much. I bought “better” sticky stuff, but it still failed. I ended up using black thumb tacks and it did the trick. These panels do not sound proof or prevent sound leakage. They do help reduce the echo in my home studio. Makes it sound more dead. Plus it looks cool (I’m sure the audio stuff is placebo and they just make a room feel professional. But vibes matter!)

Perfect
Did not unfold completely by themselves. Put them in warm water, then dryer. Became perfect! Very happy. they are about 1/2 inch shorter though, but maybe they shrunk in dryer. But works fine, looks awesome too.

A must have!
As a DJ, sound quality matters a lot to me, and these acoustic panels made a noticeable difference right away. They reduced echo and cleaned up the sound in my room, making mixes sound tighter and more accurate. Easy to install, good build quality, and they look great on the wall. Solid choice for any home studio or music setup.

Not great
For the price, these aren’t very good. They work decently well for high frequencies, getting rid of the shrill noises, but nothing for the lows as they’re just not dense enough. I expected this, so I can’t say I’m disappointed there. However, the adhesive is useless: these fell off a few minutes after being put up. They never fully regained their form, even after 3 days of being left out, so they don’t look all that great, as they’re uneven and not symmetrical. I don’t feel like these are a particularly good value overall, as it’s just a few pieces of simple foam at the end of the day, and the quality isn’t very good.

Mostly aesthetics, some functionality (80/20)
Total Cost as Seen (additional products purchased): $123.63Build Time: 1.5 HoursI initially bought this product to help reduce the upstairs noise. My wife and I share the floor with three kids over three-bedroom spaces. Needless to say, it can get loud at times. In the center hall is where the office space is.Most reviews speak to the obvious: cheaply made, hard to stick to the wall and not very functional. Searching through the reviews, I was able to find two solutions which ended up solving all problems except one: pricing. I used black backboard and nailed it to the wall to create a landscape for the foam. Second step was applying double sided adhesive tape to the entire surface. Last, I sprayed 3M adhesive on each tile one at a time working from top to bottom, inside to out. It’s been a week now and zero issues, still in place.Packaging: Item arrived in a vacuum sealed package. Once open, I followed the instructions to wait 24 hours before application. Every foam tile completely expanded with zero issues. Everything was cut correctly with no misshapen tiles present.Functionality: As a tester, I can see how this solution would benefit an entire space, ceiling to floor. There’s just not enough foam on the wall to hear much of a difference. As I don’t own a device to test decibel levels, there’s no comparison model.Aesthetic: I bought the all-black foam tiles. Looking at it now, I would have bought the off color (red and black) as it would have better suited the computer setup. A minor gripe really. It makes a huge difference in the space. The pictures say it all.Price: What you see is what wall coverage looks like with this pack. 24 sq ft isn’t a whole lot of coverage. There are a few other manufacturers selling similar items for cheaper. Just a considerationI’ve included links to the other products I bought to make this project a success. Terrible, Do Not Purchase
I installed these and in the hour or so that they stayed in place that did absolutely zero sound proofing. And then they fell off. I have re-installed them four times and they fell off every time. The stickers are useless. But even if they did stick, they provide no sound proofing at all. Complete waste of money. Zero stars isn’t an option but that’s what I give them..

Cheap and effective solution for noise isolation
My neighbours were complaining about the noise as I live in an apartment complex. This product helped me reduce the noise that my tv makes. Now can peacefully watch tv at 11pm.
