    Sound bounce
these did exactly what i needed them for. because my desk faces a corner, recordings always had that empty room sound from the audio bouncing off the walls. these panels take that edge off and cut down the echo so my voice and instruments sound a lot tighter.they are the egg crate style acoustic foam panels and they come as a 4 pack with adhesive stickers, so setup is simple. stick them where the sound is reflecting the most and you can hear the difference right away. they are light weight and easy to work with, and you can move them around until you find the sweet spot.the big thing for me is how much time it saves in editing. i used to spend way too long trying to clean up recordings and tame the room sound. these make the raw recording cleaner from the start, which makes everything easier.just to be clear, these are not soundproofing panels. they are acoustic treatment to reduce echo and reflection. for what i needed, they work perfect and they are well worth the money.

    Similar to egg crate toppers
I recently bought these to soundproof and they were a good purchase. One of the things that I like is that you get four of them. They also come with adhesive which makes them easier to install. They do look like egg crate toppers. At first I thought, why not just buy the topper and cut it? I think that there are a few differences in doing this. These are nicely cut to size ( you would have to cut the topper) and these also come with adhesive to install them. The color is also nice as well, as the toppers usually come in beige or lighter colors. I think that the convenience of having these ready to install, as well as the fact that they are nicely already cut to size makes these more valuable than buying the topper and cutting them yourself. With this said, The convenience factor alone makes these a good purchase and value.

    Great Soundproofing Panels
I wish I had enough to cover a whole room, but this small pack of four is good enough to make a smaller enough space for room cancellation in our home office. It helps absorb some sound and keep sound from our neighbors out. It’s decently thick and easy to hang up, so it helps keep sound at bay. I like that they look nice too and they seem to work great so I’ll probably more down the road to keep building up our sound proofing in the house.

They’ll work okay’ish depending on what you need out of them.
Okay I have to be honest here. These are just the same type of egg crate foam used as mattress toppers. We used to use these back when I was younger playing in garage bands. They’ll work okay’ish for soundproofing as long as you aren’t playing at high volume but they will not by any means completely block out noise through standard drywall walls. However, if you are looking for something that will change the acoustics of the room you are recording in in order to get a more pure sound from your mic’d up amps or vocals then these will most certainly work just fine. As for soundproofing that’s going to be a big nope.

Not ‘sound proof’, but I’m happy they’re abnormally large panels.
I appreciate that these are not the over priced 1×1 foot foam panels that come up on here a lot. They will actually cover a decent area of your wall. That being said, the term ‘sound proof’ in the title is misleading. Don’t expect a drastic reduction in sound. Real sound proofing requires mass, and if you’re trying to stop sound from coming into your room, you’re better off adding mass (ie sandwiching Mass Loaded Vinyl behind an extra layer of drywall) to the walls and sealing any holes that sound can leak around. How functional these are for you will depend on your goal. These won’t absorb bass or even mid frequencies. These will subtly reduce reflection and reverb in the upper frequencies. For that they do their job. But if you want to treat a room more generally, you’ll need thicker, denser panels like rockwool.$10 per panel for a panel of this size is a decent value compared to other options on Amazon, so I’m satisfied there.

    Good
This is not a “magic pill” to fix your sound. But these acoustic panels seriously help in controlling the sound in your space while looking great.I dont have a way to measure the db level change of the reverb in my room after putting these up, but I can say that the sound is better. And if you put them up on the wall directly behind your microphone, as your first step in sound treatment, you will hear the difference.I didn’t need to cut mine, so im not sure how they cut if you need to.They function and look good.

Awesome sound panels for office studio.
Purchased these for a small studio in our office. They are perfect for what we needed to cut down sound for video and podcast recordings. Come with adhesive squares to mount to the wall. Great packaging as well, came vacuum packed, which greatly protected them through the shipping process. Will buy more!

    Not rly for sound dampening
Basic foam that will dampen sound a little. They are really large which is nice and come with adhesive squares. These would work well in making a larger soundproofing panel using other materials too.
