I picked this up to use in my home inspection business, and like most tools in that category, it falls into that space where versatility is both the selling point and the tradeoff. That is exactly what this unit is designed to do.Right away, the portability stands out. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry from room to room. That matters in a real inspection setting where you are already juggling tools, notes, and movement through a property. Being able to pull this out, power it on, and get readings without a complicated setup keeps things efficient and practical.The display is another strong point. It is a clear digital screen that shows multiple readings at once, including carbon dioxide levels, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, temperature, and humidity. Having all of that information presented in one place makes it easy to get a quick sense of the indoor environment without having to interpret multiple devices.Functionally, it does what you would expect from a multi parameter monitor. It provides real time readings that update as conditions change, which is useful when moving between different areas of a home. In my part of the country, certain readings like formaldehyde or broader VOC detection are less central to the kinds of issues I typically encounter. Battery Charge Lasts ~2 days
First, let’s talk about how long a charge lasts. If the device is on constantly it will last about 2 days. I have mine wall mounted, nowhere near a power outlet so I only turn it on when I’m curious about readings. I was expecting something that could stay on and last a lot longer, maybe a week or more, without needing to be re-charged. I got pretty standard readings inside my home. I do have at least one window open every day for a couple hours at least and my CO2 readings were basically reading what outdoor measurements would be. I brought the device into my closet and let it settle (which does not have good ventilation) and there were no change in CO2 readings, so I’m not sure how sensitive this actually is. There was a manual included but it didn’t discuss what exactly triggers the alarm (is it the CO2, the TVOC or the HCHO? or just a reading in yellow or orange?). The temp and humidity levels seem to be correct, but only after it’s had ample time to “settle”.A short cord is included, but no box.I think if you were very concerned about VOC’s and Formaldehyde in your home then I would go with something of much higher quality.

This 5-in-1 air quality monitor is exactly what I needed for my home! It tracks CO₂, HCHO (formaldehyde), TVOC, temperature, and humidity all in real time. The readings update quickly and seem very accurate compared to other devices I’ve used. I love being able to monitor indoor air quality and make adjustments instantly. Seems to work well, but battery life is short
This monitor agrees with the CO2 readings of my other sensors. Isopropyl alcohol drives it nuts – anytime I clean something in the same room using IPA it shows CO2 readings in the thousands of ppm – but this isn’t priced like a lab-grade instrument and I’m not expecting it to have the specificity of one.The only real disappointment was that the battery life is about a day. For travel use, like in an RV, it’d be nice to have at least a few days of battery life.
