Works great and is accurate and looks great too.
Very easy to read most of the time. We have it mounted in a room that is well lit by natural light, especially at mid-morning, so at that time of day and depending on your viewing angle it can be a little hard to read, otherwise it’s very easy to read. Love the dark background. I initially purchased another model of this weather station that didn’t have a dark background and that one was very hard to read, so I exchanged it for our current model. The company did a great job of getting us our current model; we got it the next day. Very accurate temp and humidity readings. Nice barometer too. We rarely look at the moon phases. Love the auto dimmer feature. Very nice wireless sensor too. We have screens on our windows, so I didn’t mount it, I just placed it between the screen and the window with it facing the window and this works perfect. For our other weather station (which is from the same company, but is a different model and uses the same sensor) I mounted the sensor outside and it was very easy to mount using only one screw. I prefer placing the sensor between the screen and the window since it seems like the sensor isn’t affected by the sunlight in this arrangement, so I’ll probably move this sensor to our front window.

Accurate sensors with attractive display, so-so forecasting
I purchased this to provide accurate, current temperature, humidity, and barometer readings. It does this extremely well. It is attractive and easy to read.Its 12-24 hour forecasting function isn’t especially good, but I did not expect it to be. It tries to forecast based on trends in those three metrics. Often those trends are misleading. It will go through a “learning” period of several weeks during which the forecasts are pretty random. After that I found the forecasts to be correct about half the time.Some have noted that the display is hard to read at certain angles. This is an inevitable characteristic of the type of display it is. Consider your desired placement before purchasing. If you look at it on the level or from above the display it is bright and clear, with large numbers that can be read from across the room.Follow the instructions for setup. If you have trouble getting the outside sensor to pair, try unplugging the display and removing all batteries, then putting the batteries in the remote sensor first.On the whole, I find it good value for the cost, and I’ve received many favorable comments from visitors who have seen it.

basic weather station, works good.
This is a basic weather station, bought to observe temps in protected outside garden in Winter. It works fine for that. A couple of gripes: if used in harsh Winter regions, lithium batteries must be used as opposed to alkaline batteries which don’t perform well in low temps. Lithiums are way more expensive than alkalines. Also, if using AC adapter, battery compartment cover cannot be put back in place due to right angle plug of adapter which is inserted in same compartment. Sort of an odd design, if you ask me. Pull out stand is cheap and flimsy, doesn’t really support display unit that well, making it prone to fall over if nudged slightly. Might be better to hang it on wall or come up with better support of your own. Other than those pet peeves, display is easy to read from a distance, seems to give accurate readings so far, and is easy to set up. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Easy reading display, easy to install. Interior temp reads high.
Nice display with plenty of information in an easy to read format. Three brightness levels to chose from although the times of automatic dimming option is not adjustable (6:00 AM to 9:00 PM full brightness, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM dim). External temp sensor is easy to install but location is important to make sure the temp reading is not affected by sun exposure lack of air circulation. The inside temp reading is two degrees higher that the nearby A/C thermostat reading.

Lo que más me gustó de esta estación meteorológica es que es muy confiable, precisa y consistente en la medición de sus datos. Estuve comparando sus valores de temperatura, humedad y de presión atmosférica con otros sensores que tengo en la casa, y todas las lecturas fueron prácticamente iguales. Encuentro muy cómodo tener la sensación térmica (heat index) para prepararnos al salir de casa. La función de reloj atómico me ha funcionado muy bien (desde Yucatán) y siempre se sincroniza bien.Única cosa que “no me ha encantado” es que la pantalla sí que podría ser “de mayor resolución” o mejor brillo, sin embargo, cumple su función y se lee bien.Para aquellos que se les congele/atore la estación: Prueben tener batería de respaldo en ella. Y apaguen la función de alarma de temperatura y reloj atómico al mismo tiempo.El primer día se me “congeló” 3 veces la estación, ahora la tengo configurada sin alarma, con baterías (al mismo tiempo que cargador) y con reloj atómico. Lleva semanas corriendo y va sin problema.

The company Accurite do not provide any warranty in India. If the item do not work in warranty period there is no support. The weather station works on 110 V. We have to seperately arrange for it. I have cut the wire with pin from Supplied power supply and soldered the wire to mobile charger (ensure it is of 5V and below 1 A) wire and things works. This weather station is designed to work in US and around so Weather prediction in India is wrong. For me the station is good to look at time tempreature and humidity. I have purchased this US company weather station only because of its accuracy in temperature and humidity.
