Works great for targeted lighting or easy on/off voice commands
Super easy to install. Plug and play with the Alexa app. We needed these to fix a kitchen lighting issue where a switch was poorly installed behind the refrigerator. (Yes, they put a switch behind a fridge and built a cabinet over it!) This situation is even better than just a regular switch, as I’m able to verbally turn on just one, two, or all four of the lights with my voice instead of leaving the kitchen lights on 24/7. I labeled them K1-4 and put them into a Kitchen Group so it’s just one voice command for all the lighting or specific lighting over just where I’m working. Makes walking in at night a breeze too. Hopeing they don’t burn out quickly, because they aren’t cheap for bulbs, but so far well worth the money.

These are great LED lights they work well and easily pair with the Alexa app.
The light bulbs work very well and are reasonably priced. I have bought several different manufactures’ led light bulbs that go into recessed ceiling fixtures. They all would occasionally start flickering which was extremely annoying. I thought I would have to crawl in the attic to try and find a loose connection. When I installed these Amazon Basic LED light bulbs the problem went away. The units paired with the Alexa app with no problems and I did not even have to use the bar codes. I am so happy with these light that I ordered a second set as a back up.

Inconsistent response to Alexa routines, but otherwise good
I dont know if it is the bulb or Alexa but sometimes the routine does not run to turn it on at night or off in the morning, so now I have an extra routine run after, jut to confirm its state. Because there doesn’t seem to be a native app for this bulb, it is difficult to troubleshoot. But, I like the light, the fact that it is dimmable, and it doesnt look like cheap plastic.

Get what you pay for
These didn’t work. First of all, they made a terrible buzzing noise when I turned on the switch, although I’m guessing that’s because I had them on a dimmer switch. If I could connect the lights to my wifi, I would have replaced the switch. That may have fixed the problem. The main problem was, I couldn’t set up the bulbs because they would not detect my wifi, despite the fact my Echo is already connected to the wifi. When searching for available wifi, it detected every single wifi signal from my neighbors, but not mine. Finally, these feel really cheap. Compared to philips hue, these feel like a feather. Also, for the few minutes I had them turned on during my failed attempt to connect, the bulbs were already hot.I knew i should have just got the Hue and paid the premium price for a fast better product.Returning these

Awesome light bulbs, easy set up
For some reason, someone decided when they redid my kitchen (a rental) to put in 6 flood lights for the lighting. Good Lord that’s bright! I had switched them out to 45w bulbs which was awesome until they died and I couldn’t find a replacement. Enter dimmable smart bulbs! I love that these are connected to Alexa! I am going to purchase some more regular bulbs to put through the rest of my house. As a woman who lives alone, being able to make it look like people are here when they isn’t, is a big deal to making me feel more safe. Thank you Amazon!Ps. I had a bunch of Hue bulbs I’m going to replace with the Amazon one because I don’t need to hook up a stupid hub! AWESOME!

Color too warm/yellow!
Ok, I sooooo wanted to love these. The price was right and they work seamlessly with Amazon Alexa. But I have a few issues…1) The “soft white” color is much more “warm white” than soft. It throws a lot of yellow and as a result I’m not using them in any of the spaces I intended for them. I’m having a hard time trying to picture a space that is ideal for warm white BR30 light bulbs…2) The response time of the lights has a noticeable lag. For comparison, I have Feit smart bulbs that respond almost instantly with Amazon Alexa.3) I have one bulb that seems to not work/connect well at all (I bought 8 in total). And I have another socket that doesn’t seem to be working well with any of these bulbs… not sure why that one socket won’t play nicely (that one may be a me issue, but I’m curious to know if other brand light bulbs would have the same issue?)Ack, do I regret buying them? Maybe… I debated returning them but I had over zealously opened both boxes and installed all the lights before I realized they were not going to meet my expectations. So then I let them sit for 12 hours to see if they would grow on me (I had them in my kitchen). They didn’t. So then I started putting them in other obscure places and rooms of my house (laundry room, mud room, only in a few sockets in the kitchen…) to see how I felt about them. I’ve been updating a lot of my lighting in my house as the bulbs are all mix and match at this point. I think they are good enough in some of these spaces and did save me some money. But I don’t love them and that is 100% due to the color (I could live with the lag and a faulty bulb).

Great buy
Works really well. Great to just tell my lights to go on and at what brightness.

Alexa capable
was always forgetting to shut the closet light off when we went to bed. Problem solved. Now we just tell Alexa to do it.

Worst set of lights I have used. All of them failed after a few days with only 2 out of the box lasting 10 days.

Although it’s a good product I am have difficult to make it not turn on during the day, even though I set a routine it turns on sometimes and does not turn off
