Inexpensive and doesn’t need batteries
This solar thermometer appears to work well and is pretty inexpensive for what it does. I use it in my office and it sits on my desk with indirect light from a north facing window. No issues with it ever turning off or running out of internal battery. It can be hung on a wall as well. Seems accurate enough for my purposes but you can’t really compare to other digital thermometers because neither are probably perfectly accurate. It’s a simple thermometer so don’t read too much into those comparisons. Only thing I would like is a backlight option. Not that big a deal and overall I’m happy and does what I need.
