Excellent Air Purifier!
Pros- Packed well. Arrived undamaged.- Started right up.- Easy WFI connection.- Easy to control via phone app. Can start it up in advance of bedtime, for example.- Easy program via the app for different on-off periods, and speeds for various times of the day or the week.- Control lights can be turned off, yet the unit can still run as directed. Good for the bedroom.- Very quiet at the lower speeds.- Display show air quality very well.- The air actually feels more clean. Really.- In my case, my allergies are down since I started using this. Hard to know if this is one of the reasons. But, it seems likely.- Quality seems very high.Cons- Have not identified any cons yet. Reliability is TBD, for example.Summary- I would recommend this product!

The price will make you blue, but the results will clean away the blues.
It cost about $265 with sales tax but it cleans the air space within your home within an hour. It gives the readouts for the different grades of particles in the air, ultra fine, fine and coarse sizes. It is pretty quiet as well. It is not too heavy so pretty easy to move around but you have to grab it by the bottom. It also can operate from your smartphone using the Blueair app. The filters need to get replaced about every six months or so and they are not cheap. This is not a budget friendly machine, but it gives you the results you need and is easy to use.

Has Performed Beautifully…
…after 10 months of use in a 2100 square foot house. I run it on automatic and the fan speed remains low, while moving air and staying quiet. The performance of this unit is quite remarkable beyond what my HVAC cleans with a MERV 11 filter. This product is especially helpful when noticable odors are evident – as from cooking. The unit almost immediately senses the odors and begins ramping up the fan speed to clean the air. It works rather quickly. Impressive when cooking fish and the associated odors that produces. Still and my first filter. Did order extras and an outside unit sock. Customer service is excellent should you have any questions. Well built and expecting it to last a long time.

Quiet not silent
The quietest we have found.High is a bit fluttery sounding. Indoor tobacco smoker in home, so got this. Tobacco smoker said that one family member needs it for different smoke. Ok? Works well, no matter. The young have app for it on their phones and thus they fiddle with it a lot. Works just fine on Auto setting when they are gone and I ignore it. It reports air quality to them constantly. How nice for them. Ahem. Seems like a quality item.

Beyond all expectations!
I already wrote a review for the smaller version, but this one for larger rooms is truly beyond all expectations. It makes a noticeable difference, the air feels cleaner, fresher, and easier to breathe.It runs quietly, is easy to use, and handles a larger space without any issue. I’ve been very impressed with how well it performs.Definitely worth it if you need something powerful for bigger areas.

One Outstanding Air Filter!
I don’t think I could be more pleased or impressed with an appliance than I am with the Blueair 211i. Living in a 50 year old house that up until a year ago never had the air ducts professionally cleaned equaled a constant battle with dust. Not just dust but enough dog hair to make enough blankets for half of NYC if spun and woven. Having at least two double-coated canines at a time equals ALOT of airborne fur and dander.Researched air purifiers and decided on the Blueair 211i. While the capacity of the 211i is twice the square footage of my home, that was done on purpose. I don’t plan on being canine-less anytime in my remaining time on this rock and the larger unit can help “Aussie Proof” the dust levels.Getting to the unit. Whisper quiet under normal running – don’t even know it’s there. Mine is in the center of the house which is between the kitchen and living rooms. Happen to start creating carbon instead of dinner? The Blueair will automatically sense the additional particulates in the air and quickly remove them. For a fast as the fan runs during one of these episodes it’s still pretty quiet.The “prefilter” or outer fabric cover does a great job catching the doghair and dust on it – it’s easily cleaned with a vacuum and can be thrown in the washer when needed. With the light blue prefilter on mine, after a couple of days the subtle difference in color is a visual indicator to clean it off. The prefilter takes a bit of the load off the HEPA filter inside.After five months of 24/7 use now, the HEPA filter is still in fairly decent shape. The 211i has a LED indicator on the front to give you a quick visual on the filter condition. Nice feature to have on it. Without the exterior prefilter, I’m sure I’d have had to change out the filter already. Replacing the filter is as easy as giving the top section a quarter turn and lifting the section off. Reach in, swap the filter, put the top back on and set the prefilter in place. I couldn’t ask for anything easier to do.I’ve also noticed that I’m not coughing as much inside the house now – definitely getting the air properly filtered has had a positive health affect. The fact I’ve not noticed any discernable increase in the electric bill is also a positive!If you’re seriously considering a top notch/quality home air filter, give the 211i a hard consideration. I’ve recommended it to friends and haven’t lost one yet after they bought one…!

Purchased this Blueair Hepa air purifier almost a year ago and it has worked very quietly and efficiently, keeping our home air fresh and almost allergen free. (Air will never be totally allergen free due to leaky doors, windows, etc.) Noticeable difference especially with the wildfire smoke that many countries are experiencing. It is interesting to hear it automatically speed up when you are cooking something smokey. I like being able to control it or check in via iPhone. HEPA filter is combined with carbon filter to remove odours. Easy to change filter and relativity inexpensive to replace, also there are many after market filters that are cheaper if you wish to go that route. There is also a cloth pre-filter which you can remove and wash as required to extend the life of the main filter. Lighting on it is also dimmable. Very attractive and highly recommend.

Very effective, works well and easy to use. This purifyer is helping me everyday from nasty allergens from cigarette smoke. I just moved into a building with big smokers and poor ventilation. I knew about my cigarette allergy but I hadn’t known how severe it had become. This purifyer is ideal for all kinds of smoke, from cigarettes to forest fire smoke, because it has a carbon filter. I leave it in automatic mode and it filters the air using very little energy to keep the air to “excellent quality”. There is a light that changes color to inform us of air quality. When it’s blue, I know I can breath easily. You can hook this purifyer to your Wi-fi and use special app to manage it, but it’s not necessary. I’m using it without it and it’s going very well. It’s very quiet compare to my previous one I bought 3 years ago. The filters aren’t cheap and it needs to be changed every 6 to 9 months. I haven’t had to change it yet, but I’m hoping it lasts as long as possible and that there won’t be any problems. I’ll edit this review when it’s time for a change.

Got this model because it was top rated by Consumer Reviews for a large space. The first one that I got quickly developed a hum and Amazon arranged a free return and sent another without additional cost. I got mine for a great Black Friday price. The second one works great and is nearly silent when fan is on 1. The app works well or it works manually on the device, but I’m not sure if you have to set it up with the app for it to start working in the first place. It is very large. You need somewher for it to live. I’m a little disapointed that it’s not helping my always slightly runny nose but really got it for ragweed season so will have to wait til next summer to really assess it’s true value.

It works well. The price is hight and filter too. I like that it is wifi. I like too that I can control it via smart plug (on/off) and do routine, contrary to my old serie 500/600 that has remote control and it is impossible (Attention: i love my old 500/600 that I have for many years and I am happy with). Hoping the quality has not changed with the time. It is quiet and I like the concept capturing circularly contamination and pushing clean air only vertically on top. All around fabric cover could be easily washing.I am concerned about the set point when it is in automatic mode. In 3 weeks of use, I never saw changing from automatic mode to hight speed clean air. I think the sensor are very bad contrary to serie 500/600 that easily detect smell, contamination and quickly pass from automatic mode to hight speed clean. That could be improved seriously.Finally , I saw purifier increase speed at higher level when the numbers on screen at PM2.5 reached higher that 36.Led light in front of device changes colour: 0-12 blue, 12-22 green, 22-32 yellow, higher than 33 red and speed increase.

I was intimidated to clean it but it turns out to be quite simple. The filter is significant and I think the folds and size of it is probably a good indicator of the effectiveness. It is a very large machine and round (tough for my small condo), contemporary and upscale looking due to limited plastic showing, and extremely quiet even on fan 3 of 4. The app shows air quality and you can control it. So far I am happy with it compared to my other units. On sale it was an excellent value
