Blocks Light Well, Limited Sound Reduction
This door draft stopper works well at blocking light coming out of the room and helps with visual privacy. However, it does not significantly reduce sound, which is something to be aware of if you’re buying it for noise control.My door width is 30 inches, and the stopper was longer than needed. Since I didn’t want to trim it or use adhesive tape on my door, I folded the extra length instead, which still works fine for me.Overall, it’s effective for light blocking, but not ideal if soundproofing is your main goal.

Eliminates odors immediately!
I have a neighbor who cooks the most rancid smelling food known to man. I got this draft stopper to eliminate the odor seeping through my apartment door. It’s helped quite a lot, I no longer smell those rancid smells. If you have carpet by your front door the draft stopper may create more resistance when opening and closing the door. But it’s not a big deal as it works well still. It is most ideal for hardwood floors. The length fit my apartment door without adjusting the length. And the adhesive has stuck to the door since day 1, perfect!!

Glad I paid a bit more to get this one. The velvet material of the cover looks premium and is well stitched and finished. Perfect fit for a 35 inch door with no trimming required of the foam. It buffers ambient sound and eliminates air drafts from the hallway.

Better quality than I was expecting. Fits both doors I was thinking of it for, have to get another. I was wondering how I was going to adjust it, it’s easy, you cut the last piece you insert into the velvety material, to whatever length you want. Took about 20 seconds. No air flows through after putting it on so all in all great!
