Parlor Palm Tree features solid, green foliage. The Parlor Palm Treeis great for tabletops. It does well in spaces that have bright, indirect sunlight. Place Parlor Palm Tree in a spot that receives bright light (5 or more hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 1 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Parlor Palm Tree sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping is approximately 12-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Parlor Palm Tree ships in a black, 6-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. The Parlor Palm Tree is a slow grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Beautiful Parlor Palm!!!
Wow! These palms far exceeded my expectations!! Healthy, beautifully green and lush! 18″ tall in self watering pots that didn’t cost extra. They were packaged very well for delivery. No damage whatsoever. The top of the pot had plastic wrap on it to keep dirt from falling out. The plastic also kept the soil moist. I recently ordered a plant from a more expensive nursery and the difference was huge. That plant was scraggly, the leaves appeared diseased and dirt was everywhere… all for a much higher price. I’ll be ordering my plants from now on from Costa!!!

Infested with Spider Mites
Upon receiving, the palms were beautiful and I didn’t see any evidence of bugs, so I was pleased. After some quarantining, I brought them inside and placed them about my house. Now, I’m an avid plant mom, but I’ve never had larger palms like this before, so I knew there was a distinct possibility I’d have to spend some time finding just the right spots in my house. I moved a couple around, but settled within a handful of days. I clipped a broken frond off of one of the palms, and otherwise, it seemed healthy and happy. It stayed this way for a couple of weeks, and then suddenly, took a turn for the worst. Long story short, I finally figured it out when I found the spider mites. All over the place, so I’m guessing they’d hatched a few times. Unfortunately, I did not catch them before the spider mites infested quite a few of my other plants. I’ve now thrown out two out of three palms, and five additional plants. There are a handful more that I think I can rehab, but it’ll take me some time and a strict quarantine.I’m so disappointed in these palms. Costas Farms is such a reputable plant farm, and yet, they’re sending out massively infested plants, because clearly, I am not the only one with this problem. What a disappointment. I won’t even get my money back for these. I sure as hell won’t be buying from here again.

Terrific packaging and delivery of a healthy plant.
Great packing so the plant arrived perfectly intact. They put plastic around the pot therefore zero dirt spillage.I’ve had the plant for a month now, and it’s thriving. Love the water level view window. I’ve stopped myself several times from watering it as it showed plenty of water.Good delivery, healthy plant, great pot.UPDATE; The plant if full of dirt fleas! I’ve had to put it outdoors with the hopes of drying it out and killing them. I watered as directed, and the water viewing window showed just a small amount of water in the reservoir. DON’T BUY THIS SET, the flies came from this plant.

My parlor palm arrived well packed and healthy. She’s pretty full with no brown tips. I would have given 5 stars if she was a little bigger…no way is it 14″-18″ inches tall.

The spider mites are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Costa Farms if you want the highest quality spider mites available, or if you simply want to infest the rest of your plants! 5 stars, would infest plants again. Thanks Costa Farms!

This one is not for me
I received this about six weeks ago. I usually love the plants I buy from Costa Farms, but this one hasn’t met my expectations. The foliage isn’t evenly dispersed around the plant. About a quarter of it looks normal but on the other sides it looks like it was grown so that it didn’t have enough room to flourish and the stalks are all tall so that the plant leans back over to the normal quarter. I thought to myself “OK challenge accepted” and I positioned it in front of a window with direct southern exposure and all day sunshine so that it would grow towards the sunshine. I also shimmied the underneath of the pot so that the existing stalks were perpendicular to the floor and have tried to slowly remove the layers of the shimmy to slowly let it learn which way was straight up. I guess I need a whole lot more time because it is looking a little worse than when I unpacked it from the box. My last complaint is that it came with a bunch of those tiny fruit fly like bugs and those are killing my other plants so I have had to remove them from the window where they were previously thriving.Normally I love Costa Farms plants and they usually grow well with no problems but this one is not doing that well and it is either because of me or the plant and I don’t know what else to do with it. I would not buy this one again.Plants do make you life better, buy them often! Happy growing to all!Update to my review: The really interesting thing is these are in fact spider mites that have infested this plant. I have 8 plants total and the ones I got from Home Depot locally and Ikea locally have no spider mites. Both of the other ones that I got, which are money trees, that I got from Costa Farms have been heavily infected with the spider mites from the Cat Palm and one of them looks like it is about to die from it. I have taken action to save both. They were both healthy and beautiful before receiving this Cat Palm. I cannot figure out why the other Costa Farms ones are the only other plants that got infected. Now I am leery of buying from Costa Farms again. I don’t know that I have the skills to keep them all alive and get rid of the spider mites.
