$6? Why not?! I’ve compared it to other temperature monitors I have in the house and this little dinky thing is displaying the temperature and humidity accurately and thats honestly all I can truly ask for.They give you a little red circular piece of plastic that I imagine is for helping you take off the back piece that holds the round watch battery that thankfully they included. Although it was a struggle to the death to get the back piece off. I had it turned to open and no matter what it would not actually detach itself. I had a pride open with something incredibly thin to get in between to pop it off. Getting it back on after installing the battery wasn’t as much of a struggle but unfortunately was still a struggle in its own. The kickstand was cute and I was going to utilize it but it snapped itself off after opening and closing it a handful of times. It’s irreparable unless I want to super glue it open or closed which I’m probably just going to leave it alone. It gives you two other ways to hang it which is putting a hook in it or the two little small magnets they included built into the back piece of the product. But the magnets arent very reliable, theyre small and set too far inside. I didnt realize at first that the bottom section is touch screen. You can change between Fahrenheit or celsius. The other button I haven’t fully grasped what it was for.

Arrived Damaged!
You get what you pay for – lesson learned! Clock arrived damage – the fold-out stand is broken; only way to use it is by adding tape to secure the stand. Packaging was fine. A bit smaller than I thought it’d be, but seems to be relatively accurate.

Not real accurate; inexpensive & cheap
This combined thermometer and hygrometer is small and compact. It has a small, but easy to read display. The temperature and humidity displays are larger in size. It has a low and high feature for both. There’s a small house icon next to the humidity that displays “OK” (30–60%), “DRY” (<30%), or "WET" (>60%). This is helpful if you use a humidifier or dehumidifier. It’s easy to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa by pressing the lower left-hand button. There’s also a button on the lower right side that shows all-time highs and lows for both temperature and humidity. The screen can be a little difficult to see unless you are looking straight at it. If you look at it from an angle, it looks like you’re seeing double. The battery compartment was a little difficult to open and finally close. A small red disk resembling a coin is provided to open and close the battery compartment. The kickstand is flimsy and the magnets on back are pretty weak. But this makes sense given this device is less than $7.I also don’t believe this gauge is very accurate. The thermostat in my home reads 66 degrees. I have this thermometer in my bedroom (with 3 outside walls) and I moved it about one foot away. The temperature went from 70 degrees to 72.5 degrees within a minute. The humidity went from 58% to 66% within a few seconds. A few minutes later, the temperature went down to 71.4 degrees, and the humidity went back down to 58 degrees.This combined thermometer/hygrometer is an inexpensive tool that isn’t always accurate. And, it’s on the flimsy side.
