I recently purchased this 3 inch queen gel infused cooling mattress topper from the EGOHOME Store, and I’m honestly very impressed. The quality is great for the price,The topper is super comfortable and provides excellent support. It feels soft but still firm enough to relieve pressure on my back and hips. The cooling gel really works — I noticed I don’t wake up feeling hot like I used to.It was also very easy to set up. After unpacking, it expanded nicely within a few hours and had very little odor. The 3-inch thickness makes a big difference and instantly upgraded my mattress.

Cushy even at 2 inches
I am pretty pleased with this topper. I purchased the 2 inch queen model.As can be expected with all products like this, there is an aroma upon opening. I did not think it was too bad, but I would advise trying to air it out for a day or two (and before you enclose it with sheets and mattress pads), even though I know you are anxious to use it. It only takes about 3 or 4 hours to fully expand. I don’t think there were any instructions, but just carefully cut the plastic packaging and unfold it. In a few places, I measured right at 2 inches, maybe 1 15/16 after expanding.The overall size, it measured maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch short of a queen 80 x 60. But then when I put it on my mattress, which has curved edges and corners and such, I actually wished it were a bit smaller because it stuck over a bit on all sides. Super easy to “install” of course, besides the airing out time.No real direction on this, but I put mine directly on my firm mattress, then a standard mattress pad over it, and then my fitted sheet. I can still feel the cushion and cozyness. It is not summer here yet, but I have not noticed any heat retention or hotness from this topper.It does add a nice layer of cushy support. I only got 2 inches because I could not fit more inside my murphy bed fold up, but I think that is all you need. Even at only 2 inches thick (and under a mattress pad), my one complaint, you really sink in a bit. If you want to roll over or move around, you almost have to climb out of your hole and adjust and let the topper re-form.
