Expensive for what it does
This blanket has two sides (“warm” and “cold”) and you really can feel that the “cold” side is cool to the touch. But I have mixed feelings about using it as a substitute to cranking the AC. When you first put it on, you can feel it cool you, but then the blanket quickly stops feeling cold. After ~5 minutes it warms up and is warmer than not having a blanket. Then when you toss and turn during the night, it feels cold again for a while longer. So you kind of alternate between being hot and cold. Sometimes we would toss the blanket off because of being too hot. Also, the cool effect is really only for skin that is in contact with the blanket – a sheet stops most of the cooling, making this function like a thin blanket (only making you feel warmer). My wife hates sleeping without a sheet between herself and the blanket, so that defeats the point. I think a cooling sheet might work better than a cooling blanket, and question if this is worth its price.

This is a fantastic product, it actually does what’s its advertised to do. The blanket is extremely soft and feels cool to the touch at all times. It will warm slightly after some time against the skin, but if move slightly away from the spot you’ve been in the blanket will cool you again. I’m a hot sleeper and this helps so much!! Best blanket ever. I love it, i have eczema and i couldnt cover myslef with the regular blanket cuz its so thick and doesnt allow air to get through it, so it gets hot inside the blanket even thou its cold outside it i used to wake up as midnight from flareups because i sweat alot from regular blanket and other factors alongside. But this blanket, i’m using it for a year or more, i really love it, its breathable and light, tho it keeps you with that good comforting feeling of being covered, tho not too cold nor too hot, it has volume tho, its not too flat. It has two sides, the cotton side is warmer but still breathable, and the other silicone like side is cooler. I love it. One of the best things i have ever bought. Its durable. I also washed it and dried it by washing machine and its still just fine. Love it, highly recomend it.
