Most comfortable office chair I’ve ever used
Since I work from home, I needed something to really suit my ergonomic needs. Arm rests with adjustable heights, adjustable lower back lumbar support, chair height, and backrest angle adjustments. This fit my needs far better than I expected. I can just feel my back and neck muscles relax while sitting in this chair.What I love:All the necessary adjustments for ergonomic needs.Extremely comfortable and not just the seat, but the backrest too.Very smooth swivel and movement of the chair.Nice head rest when you need to give your eyes a break and want to rest back your head.Very durable. When this arrived, I could barely pick up the box as it weighed so much. After getting everything out, I could tell why. This isn’t some cheap plastic. This is high quality and durable parts. This is the tank of chairs.While I already mentioned all the adjustments, one thing that you will notice is the adjustable lower back support. This is amazing. You can position it for the exact spot you need and it feels so good.What I would like betterThe instructions aren’t super easy. It’s not bad but I had to assemble parts like the base with wheels and that wasn’t covered in the instructions.What I highly recommendYou really want to make sure your drill and allen wrench set is handy. They do provide you with the tools but it’s going to take you significantly longer using that so grab your drill and save yourself a bunch of time.Overall, I’m really loving this chair. For this price point, I highly, highly recommend this chair. Probably the most comfortable office chair I’ve ever sat in and I’ve sat in a great many of them.

QuelSoft Ergonomic Office Chair
I spend most of my day at a desk and have gone through a few chairs over the years trying to find one that doesn’t leave me with lower back tension by mid-afternoon. The QuelSoft has been the best solution I’ve found in its price range.Lumbar Support and back support: The 3D lumbar support is the defining feature and it works the way it’s supposed to — you can adjust it to sit at the exact right height for your lower back, and the support is firm without feeling like it’s pushing you out of the seat. After several weeks of use the lumbar adjustment hasn’t loosened or drifted, which is a common failure point with budget ergonomic chairs.The high back design supports the full length of my spine, and the breathable mesh construction means I’m not dealing with a sweaty back by the end of the day — something I had a constant problem with my previous foam-backed chair. The seat depth and armrest positioning are both adjustable, which matters for dialing in proper posture.It assembled in about 30–40 minutes with the included tools and instructions, and all the hardware was accounted for. The chair feels sturdy and doesn’t wobble or squeak.If there’s a limitation to note, the seat cushion is on the firmer side — people who prefer a plush, sink-in feel may find it less comfortable initially, though it’s well within normal range for ergonomic seating. For actual back support and long-term comfort during extended desk work, this chair delivers reliably.

Well Made Chair with Many Adjustments
This is a very well made chair that allows a ton of adjustments, from the standard height/tilt to lumbar position, arm height/angle and even headrest height/angle. It comes in many pieces but is relatively easy to put together with the included hex wrenches and simple one-page instruction manual, and it took me about 30 minutes in total. The seat is made of solid foam and covered with black fabric, and while it isn’t “sink-in cushy”, it does provide good support and should hold up well under constant weight. I will update this review should that fail to be the case, however. The back and headrest is made of a mesh type material that is breathable and light, and the “3D” lumbar feature is simply a pad that rests behind the mesh back that can be easily moved up and down by reaching behind you and pushing with your thumbs. The one thing I did find odd, however, is that the chair always wants to spin to the right every time I sit on it, so I have to make sure my feet are planted on the floor. I verified this is not due to any tilt in the floor surface so it’s definitely in the chair itself, as it does spin super easily. Not a dealbreaker but just something I felt I should mention. Overall, while I find this chair has a lot of positives, I do think that it’s a bit overpriced at $229 and feel it would sit better in the $189 range or so. However, I would still recommend this chair as a great option for anyone concerned with ergonomic seating.

structurally great, sturdy, horrible fabric
My fiancé assembled this and I provided minimal help, it didn’t take us that long but it is more complicated than the average desk chair. The back part was the hardest to line up and we had to use A LOT of force to get the larger plastic parts to slot into eachother properly. My other chair is a secretlabs and I can happily say this one is very comfortable and has vertical lumbar adjustment, you just have to do it manually. It uses pump hydraulics (pump handle to lift rather than lift handle to lift)The only reason I’ve left 4 stars is because for all the good aspects it offers structurally, the fabric material is rough and scratchy and I found created an uncomfortable friction that I personally can’t bear for long. I wouldn’t want to spend more than 10min in this chair without a soft seat cover or pillow.My fiancé had no complaints but he’s long used to sitting on the floor or perching on stools so not the highest seating standards. What he did have to share was that the height-adjustable headrest is a really good touch, and I agree it’s rare to see a good truly adjustable headrest at this pricepoint. The back on this chair is lower, I’m 5’4″ with a shorter torso and many headrests are useless for me bc they don’t come low enough, this one does!
