I bought this because I needed something that I could alternate between sitting and standing now that I am remote full time. It was the most reasonably priced desktop converter that I could find that would fit my laptop and a full size LCD on the top as well as a full size keyboard and mouse.It more than met my expectations. Instructions were easy to read and assembly took me twenty minutes.The top part is wide enough for my laptop to sit open and I was able to attach my monitor arm with no problems, though I could easily fit a 27″ LCD without an arm too.It is wider from front to back than I expected the keyboard tray sits out all the time. This was fine for me at my desk is wide enough but be aware it is a full 25″ from back to front. If you use an arm then you will need an extra inch to accommodate it without hitting the wall behind the desk.It is very easy to bring up and down – I am not very strong upper body wise but I have no problems raising and lowering this several times a day.The only downside so far it that the black shows up all dust and dog hair (particularly if you have a white dog) but that is to be expected!All in all a great value and works perfectly.

TRUE REVIEW: Uncompensated and actual user.Just assembled it and I am impressed!First the CONs: 1) There is an ever so slight give when I place my hands on the keyboard, but then it’s barely noticeable. I would think all the other table risers have the same issue or I just have heavy hands; 2) The grease on the railings was not spread evenly leading to a less than smooth experience while raising/lowering the table. This was easily fixed with a toothpick (just smooth out the grease).Now the PROs: 1) $99.99! Compared to the competition, that is a very good value to price ratio!; 2) The metal, the wood, and the pneumatic appear to be of good quality. It was very clean, smooth, no dents, scratches or anything… and they feel sturdy; 3) At first I could not decide if I should get a bigger version (this is a 32″), afraid that I would run out of space… but this size was just right for me. I have a 15″ laptop and a 27″ monitor – both on it at the same time and still have some spare space for junk; 4) the keyboard tray is wide enough to hold my full-size wave keyboard (wider than normal), a trackball, and an 8″ tablet; finally, 5) They didn’t cut corners and included dampening pads (x3) to place under the keyboard tray so it does not “bang” your table when you lower the whole table/tray (e.g., when you want to work sitting). Other things they included were ties and sticker-backed hooks to help with cable management and tools to help with assembly.I’m almost suspicious of this product as it seems to be slightly too good to be true. I hope I feel the same way a couple of years from now. I will update this review if anything goes wrong.Please let me know if this review was helpful.BOTTOM LINE: Go Get it!

Great product! I can work sitting or standing which makes it excellent for me as I an active person who does not want to sit all day. Well made and spacious. The hydraulic lifter makes it so easy adjust.

Works pretty well for a 14″ laptop and external monitor.
This is really solid, adjusts down flat or up to various heights quickly and easily. The price is great. The front tray was designed for a keyboard, but I use it to hold my 14″ Mac laptop and have a single very wide monitor as a second screen on the upper platform. The lower tray is just barely deep enough to hold my laptop – about the front inch sticks out towards me past the front edge of the lower tray. If the lower tray came forward just one inch deeper this thing would work a bit better for holding a laptop/monitor combo.

Stand at Ease
This adjustable standing desk exceeded my expectations. Setup was straightforward, it’s solid and stable, and the height adjustment works smoothly. Makes working more comfortable and is well worth the price. Been using it for a year with no complaints.

I ordered this standing desk for my wife. She is not easily pleased, but she loves it, and it helped her a lot. It has a built in lift assist capability so even though she is not strong she can easily adjust it as required. It even has a built in cellphone holder for keeping your cellphone viewable while working.

Easy to set up, easy to adjust up and down, plenty of working space for two monitors, keyboard and mouse. I also like the little slot for a phone or tablet. Only negative i would say is that the area where the keyboard is feels a little unstable if you are to put much weight on it, but you probably shouldn’t be leaning on it anyway. Would definitely recommend to others.

It works great, has a simple setup, is heavy-duty, and the provision to keep the keyboard and mouse is very practical.The only reason for not giving five stars is that the keyboard stand shakes slightly while we type.
