Work flawlessly if you know how they work
I bough these bulbs after owning 4 of the brighter bulbs (1050) for the last 3 years. I needed 2 more bulbs for my spare bedroom that I don’t use that often so I bought these 800s and they were a great price.They are super easy to set up with the geeni app. The key to a smooth pairing process is to make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4 Ghz band of your WiFi. I’ll say it again in bold – MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS CONNECTED TO THE 2.4 GHZ BAND OF YOUR WIFI. You may need to Google search how to connect or set up the 2.4Ghz band on your WiFi if yours doesn’t show up on your phone. Again this is a must, the bulbs do not connect to the 5Ghz band.Now that’s done with I’ll say that these bulbs are super reliable. The best part is that you can be away from the house and as long as your light switch is physically on, you can control the lights. For example my lights are on a schedule to shut off at a certain time so I never have to turn off the lamp switch, but if I’m out late I can override the schedule so I have light when I get home. The colors are beautiful and bright and these will even sync up to music where my old bulbs don’t have the option.

It’s so easy!!
I already have other bulbs from Geenie, so I did not have to do the initial setup of adding the app. The only thing I had to do was open the app, installed the bulb, turn on light switch and the bulb started pairing. Also, it was automatically added to Alexa. I like being able to change colors but I would like to have had more scenes. Most of the scenes appears to be the same. I would definitely purchase more Geenie bulbs in the future. I do expect these to last a long time. I had my other bulbs almost 2yrs and I have not had to change them yet.

I like how these can turn on and off automatically with the sunrise and sunset using the app. Brilliant. Use red color to keep bugs away in the summer.

Good price! Easy to set up!
These were super easy to set up! It took me 5 minutes to connect it to the Wi-Fi and get it to work with my phone. Then it took another 5 minutes to connect them to Alexa. The price is right, colors are fun, and I’m happy so far!! Just bought two more!!Update: Deducted one star!! I ordered some new bulbs, exact same type, but the colors are different! Kind of upsetting because I have a lamp that has five bulbs and four of them are the old one and one of them is the new one. The new one is slightly different on most color settings 🤔😔

Best Gift Ever! *Please Like Review if it’s Helpful*
I absolutely LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!! My friend gifted me a couple for my birthday, and I’ve bought another since. They take time to set up, so don’t get frustrated. I used the mode that required turning them on and off about six times to initialiate a slow blink and thy helped create the connection to the app. I love the colors and the dimming feature of the white light mode. If you’re big into themes, you’ll want to spend a little extra money on Hue lights, but if you’re content with a color wheel and dimming feature, this will makes you very happy.Also, anyone logged in to your wifi will be able to control the lights if they download the app (iOS & Android works). This is great because my boyfriend can go into a different room and control the ones in there without interrupting my girl time :)Another feature I LOVE is the automation. You can up one-click actions, like turn all lights on or off. I even have a couple automatic turn-on automations. The only note is that you have to add each action for each bulb when you set it up (but you can change the criteria at any time!).Obvi, I love these. This last set I bought are for my boyfriend because he loved them too ♥️

One stopped working
I’ve had these for a year now and absolutely love them! My boyfriend and I control one bulb each for our room. But my lightbulb no longer works and I’m not sure why. The second bulb (his) works perfectly fine. Not sure if we ruined it by having one connected to each persons phone or not. So just be cautious if you do the same. Hopefully I can figure it out.

Very convenient with many features
I use these in every room of my house and connect them to Alexa. Many different color possibilities as I’ve played around with them but I mainly just use them on white. They don’t lose connection even after a power outage. They last a long time and I only replace them when they stop connecting after about a year and a half to two years. They will then still work but only like a regular bulb that you have to turn on and off with the switch. It is also very helpful to be able to adjust the brightness in the app and to create settings like a dimmer light in the morning when waking up and having an automatic shut off time at night in case you unexpectedly fall asleep with the light on. It also helps to be able to remotely turn them on and off without having to get up or before getting to a hallway or room. You will never have to walk through a dark room to a switch again.

The BEST for Your Buck!!
I’ve been Using Geeni since 2019 (I bought my first light bulbs right before Covid at Walmart) I just ordered new ones 5 years later and it wasn’t because the light went out (the lights broke during moving.) All I can say is i’m a huge fan of Geeni! The lights always work on commend, they connect really well to your phone (I can turn the lights on from my driveway). They turn off and on just fine (I never use the actual light stand itself). Also, dimming, changing colors and all the settings always work just fine and i’ve NEVER had issues in over the 5+ years!
