Easy to Use: The switch on the bottom allows you to turn the outdoor waterproof candles ON / OFF. The Remote Control provide a 2H/4H/6H/8H timer options, which will save your trouble to turn the timer candles on/off because they will come back on automatically at the same time every day. Also, you can adjust the light modes(flicker/steady glow) and brightness level as you want.
Bright and Long-Lasting: LED bulbs of the remote outdoor candles emit a bright warm yellow light, the glow flickers slightly like natural candlelight. Each LED candle requires 3 x AA batteries (not included). Using advanced batteries, these battery candles can light up for 500+ hours(continuously on) / 45 days (6H timer with high-grade batteries).

I’m using these for lanterns on a three inch step, thinking ahead for a large pre wedding party. We don’t want anyone to miss the stepThey are bright enough for safety reasons and for ambience.The price point is the lowest I could find. Great qualityI love that they have a timer! And, they won’t melt in the Utah sun because there is no wax

Look fake up close
They work great, came packaged well and the remote is very easy to use. The timing function works great. Turn the candles on at the time you want them to come on each day. Select how long you want it to “burn” and walk away. Example: if you want them to come on at 5 pm each day and go out at 9pm, use the remote and turn them on at 5pm, then hit the 4 hour button. Done!It’ll turn off on its own at 9 and the next day it’ll turn back on at 5.In fact, my husband didn’t know I had them set up to turn on and off automatically and he didn’t know there was a remote. He told me he pressed all kinds of buttons on the bottom of the candles trying to turn them off but couldn’t get it to turn off. Again, he didn’t realize it worked with a remote.I was afraid he messed up the timing of it, but they did turn off at the right time and came back on as expected the next day.Cons: to me, they look really fake. However , I have the candles in glass candle holders so unless you look closely, they’ll do. I have them set to come on at dusk and through the glass holders, they look pretty. I have another brand that have a “waxy” finish like real candles and have black wicks to make them look like they’ve been lit before.This brand here is hard plastic with a bulb for the flame. I’m going to share a picture of both.

Brightness and durability
I previously bought these candles a couple of years ago. I use one of them out on my uncovered patio and just a month ago, it no longer worked. I love how bright they are and I especially love the remote addition. I also use these candles when we lose power. I think they are great.

Good but….
I believe I ordered the “ivory” candles and they are more yellow than I like. More of a darker “antique” color. The main problem I had was the remote control. It doesn’t work. It comes with a battery already installed. Figured the battery was the problem so I replaced it. It wasn’t the battery. So I have to turn them on physically. Which normally wouldn’t be a problem but I wanted to use them in a location that I need to use a ladder to get to. Good candles. They work but remote doesn’t.

If I could rate them 10 stars, I gladly would! I’ve been looking for a LED outdoors candles with timer for a quite a while, with no success. Whatever I found was too expensive, or no timer, or was not waterproof. Also, it was impossible to find a generous size (e.g. 4′ width). These candles met and exceeded all my expectations. Great, generous size (4×8 in); awesome looking and perfect lighting – not to bright and nicely flickering; easy to operate,; outdoors and waterproof. What really pleasantly surprised me (I almost flipped!) is NOT having that annoying little tiny screw to open battery compartment. Instead – the entire bottom is a big screw – just turn it and voila – it’s opened! If you are on the market for the LED candles – you can not go wrong with these ones, I highly recommend them! Going to sit on my patio and enjoy the lanterns with these lovely flickering candles!
