Such a great set of candles with a remote and timer feature!
I love candles with a remote that has a timer. These candles are really cute, they’re not too big and not too small, and they look gorgeous lit up at night. The glow they give off is very pretty creating a nice moody environment. The batteries last a long time in them and they can be used anywhere since they have the remote. This brand on candle has never disappointed. I have all sizes and they are fantastic. Well worth the purchase price!

Major Flaw – You Need Really Small Screwdriver to Replace Battery
This is a fantastic product with one major flaw: To replace the battery, a CR2450, you need a very small screwdriver. The description says:”…the batteries have longer light time and can be replaced easily via the tab at the bottom”.There isn’t just a tab. At least on the ones I received (I ordered 2 sets of 6), there is also a very small screw in that requires a very small Phillips screwdriver. You can’t pull the tab to replace the battery until you remove the screw. It is very difficult and requires a lot of pressure and time to finally remove that screw. I just threw them away, now I can replace the battery easily via the tab.These look great, have a flicker mode, and the remote provides many options. As an example, you can have them automatically turn on every day/night at the same time for 2/4/6 hours. This obviously can drain the batteries pretty quickly, same if you forget to turn them off.There is a black slider switch on the bottom, When in doubt, I suggest leaving it in the “Off” position. The remote works while the candle switch is in the “On” position.Don’t buy the 2450 batteries at the grocery store, they cost about $7 each. Here on Amazon, you can get perhaps a 20 pack of these batteries for maybe $15, I forget the exact amount.Finally, as a positive comment, I’ve had people think there were actual real burning candles. I do recommend these, just be aware that if like the ones I received you might need a small screwdriver and hand strength to remove the screw.

Great with more flicker and better timer/battery
Love the design, remote, settings, and real wax. I usually don’t like fake candles, but this one is close enough to real that I actually like it. It just needs slightly more variance in brightness levels for the flicker, otherwise the flicker pattern is definitely one of the better ones I’ve seen.*Update*After using these for a while, while I like the look of them, I’m very disappointed with their performance. The timer works for a few days after setting it and then they just start doing what they want. Like one won’t turn on by itself anymore at all or one will just start going on arbitrary hours. And the batteries go out like crazy or one will use a battery faster than another even though they both have the same schedule. I’m utterly perplexed and think I’d rather get a rechargeable set instead with a more reliable timer.

These candles are amazing. I love that they are made from real wax so they look and feel real. There are 2 settings on the remote – candle (which flickers) and light (which is steady and does not flicker). I needed the 2″ diameter to fit inside a Christmas gnome ornament which had a short-circuit and no longer lit up. The opening in the bottom was 2.5″ so these were perfect, and the 3″ height (vs a tealight or standard votive) made sure that the gnome was lit completely. I use the “light” mode on max brightness for the gnome and it’s perfect. The other 5 candles are being used on a candle stand, and I have them on “candle” mode with diminished brightness. They are SO pretty when they flicker dimly. And bonus (!) is that when I turn them off with the remote and turn them back on, the remote remembers to dim and flicker them. There is a timer feature as well, but I haven’t used that yet. I’m super thrilled with these candles and being able to find this unique size. You won’t be disappointed!
