I have bought maybe 5 different humidifiers in the past two years when someone in my family gets a cold and every single one has grown mold after less than a week of use. I have tried frequent cleaning, I have tried disinfecting, I use distilled water, believe me, I have tried it all! This most recent round of illness I decided to spend a little more and spring for a stainless steel model (this seemed to be the best dupe for the Carepod cold humidifier), and it grew mold after less than 48 hours of use, even when using exclusively distilled water!! I loved the idea of this humidifier but it was a huge disappointment. It also has a light feature, one of the aspects can be turned off, but it doesn’t really matter because the humidity level is always displayed with no way to dim or turn it off and it is suuuuper bright making sleep difficult while it’s running. Don’t waste your money! After intensive research I’ve found that that best humidifier you can buy is the $15 Vicks warm steam vaporizer. The fact that it’s heated kills the germs and it’s very simply designed and easy to clean. Basically all cold humidifiers are garbage that spew germs, spores and hardware particles into the air 🤢

Really happy with this humidifier so far. It looks nice, and works great. The mist output is strong, and it helps make the room feel a lot more comfortable, especially at night.It runs without bothering me while I sleep. The top-fill design also makes it super easy to refill and clean. The humidity display is useful, and the auto mode is convenient.

So, I received my humidifier today. This little humidifier, is very compact, super quiet, and it has a large capacity. I like the fact that it doesn’t make a water mess, and it doesn’t need a filter. Furthermore, the fact that the water tank is stainless steel, is a big deal for me. It is hard to escape from the plastic issue, almost in every electronics or appliances. However, at least, the water tank is non toxic ❗As this moment, I am happy with my beautiful humidifier, and I hope, it will last for a good while 🙏
