A good fan with pleasant “white noise” sound.
I’ve had this fan 1 day and I have to say I’m very pleased with its operation. It is relatively quiet. All fans make noise, but this noise is consistent, pleasant, no squeals or squeaks, no high pitch sonics and especially no variable thrum (variation of sound is what drives people nuts). It makes a good ‘white noise’ sleep aid, even at level 3. Probably the best fan I’ve ever purchased. At $30 it’s a reasonable price. I do wish it tilted back a little more (for ceiling air distribution) but it’s fine as is. Note: at first I thought the flimsy vinyl blades would be wobbly and not powerful. But they work well and produce plenty of air flow. The blades are also well-balanced, so none of that wobbly stuff we often see in competitive fans.

Get it 💪
Sooo good 🙌🏼Easy to assemble. The fan power and the levels are perfect and powerful!Affordable, looks good and the noise level isnt bad at all. Normal fan noise especially at level 3. But if you’re like me and grew up listening to that noise it’s perfect 👌🏼Size is nice. Not too big to where I can’t make it look good in the corner. And not tiny at all.I’ll probably get one more!

Reliable, Easy to Use
A reliable fan, easily assembled with a sturdy box for storage during the colder months. I bought this for my wife and myself as summer approaches and it’s not quite cold enough for air conditioning. The design is great and it’s easy for anyone to assemble. Can be placed in any room.

Good but not quite the Lasko I remember
I bought this to replace what’s essentially the old version of the same model after it finally burnt out after around 20 years of constant use. Overall puts together the same, but man. They don’t make ’em like they used to. The fan blade on the new model is noticeably thinner and flexes more, all the plastic parts seem to have a bit less heft than the old design. While I realize that’s the case for a lot of things, it is a little sad to see Lasko’s quality go down for what has been the quintessential dorm room and cheap apartment fan for decades.Negligible complaint, but I do also wish they still made it in the old “broke college student gray” – time will tell whether the white plastic ages well. The gray tended to hide that sort of aged plastic yellowing that’s inevitable with any similar fan.But for now it moves air well, possibly better than the old one, so I have hope that this is part of the purpose of the thinner blades. Has everything I want in a stand fan. Easy assembly. Can be taken apart for repairs or cleaning. Simple operation with an analog switch. Just like the older model it comes entirely apart so you can easily clean it when it inevitably gets dust and pet hair on the blades. Pop off the cover, quick wipe down, pop it back on and it’s back to giving a good breeze.I strongly advise if you have pets or children that you put something on the base to weight it a little (we always did with the old one too).Overall it’s still a pretty solid fan, similar construction to how they’ve been doing it for ages. Hopefully this one lasts me another 20 years.

Not a high quality fan, but well priced for what you get.
This fan is priced well for what you get. It comes in a small box and requires some assembly It does not require any tools. All the parts are plastic except for half of the stand. The fan works as it should. It is very noisy at high speed, but tolerable at low speed. The guards restrict most of the air trying to go through the fan and make a lot of noise themselves.I decided to remove the guards entirely. I am using the fan in a greenhouse to harden seedlings, so I don’t have to worry about anyone but me dealing with the fan, so I am complely fine removing all the safety features. The result is a WAAAAAAAAAAAY better fan. It is much much quieter, even on high speed. You acutally hear the hum of the motor over the whoosh of the moving air. It also moves a lot more air. Like a lot a lot. You can feel a good breeze from 20 feet away. When the guards were on, you got a pathetic breeze about 5 feet away on high. A toddler blowing out birthday candles makes more wind. For my purposes, this fan fit the bill. There is nothing to rust. The only metal part, half of the stand, is painted metal, so in my moist greenhouse, this fan works well. The oscilation covers a wide area. Not as wide as I would have liked, but from about 6 feet away, I can get a breeze to a row of seedlings about 16 feet long. Good enough.I am happy with my purchase, but to say that this is a good fan based on how most people would use it, it is not great. Arguably disappointing. The price is attractive, but a few years ago, a fan like this would be half the price. They didn’t change anything, just demanded more for what was already a very cheap fan.

Le falta un poco de potencia pero en general es lo que esperaba. Facil de armar!

Why cant anything ANYTHING be built to quality these days? It keeps dropping down to lowest height despite it supposedly being extendable. Itll raise up, we will tighten but as soon as we set it to oscillate- bam, down to lowest level which is lower than the bed height. Absolute rubbish. And Im writing this at 04:16 after a crap night sleep battling this junk thats not even worth the copper in the wire

The adjustable legs keep dropping to the lowest level.

Easy to assemble. Perfect wind flow. Highest level is a bit loud but not so much. Good for the price. I saw a few reviews that it’s filmsy which is not true. It’s firm if you correctly install it. The instruction manual is for no use. One less star for poor instructions

It’s just an ok fan. Not great as 18″ Lasko fan.Less powerful motor. It’s not tall enough. Probably the some 3 feet high.Below average fitting. The two metal rods that connect together to give the height often get loose, so the height reduced by itself. Have to readjust once in some 20 days. It’s useless in epak summer days.
