MAXTID Large Door Draft Stoppers

Find Out What MAXTID Users Had to Say.
“Works better than others I’ve tried”
The larger foam tubes are much better for those of us with sizable gaps under their doors. I had all kinds issues with the more standard sizes draft stoppers because the tubes would tend to get squeezed under the gap, preventing the door from moving further. No problem with this one.

“Great for staying rooms warm”
I had a large gap at the bottom of my entry door Their is also another door in the closet that leads to the attic. It’s winter right now and large amounts of cold comes from under the door. I installed the draft stopper and it has made a huge difference.

“Adjustable length”
Very good seal and adjustable length. No more drafts from the underside of the door.

“Draft, noise and light block for bedroom door”
Very easy to install and makes a big difference with drafts and light, noise blocking on our bedroom door while my husband sleeps during the day since he works nights. Looks a lot nicer than the towel we were using before.

rks great and keeps cold air out
This draft stopper works really well. It blocks cold air from coming under the door and makes the room feel warmer right away. It also helps reduce noise and dust.Installation was quick and easy, and it fits nicely without moving around. The material feels durable and good quality.Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

It works
Very nice and so easy. I didn’t have to cut anything it fit perfect and so easy to install. It works great. Had big gap on my apartment door don’t ask why but took care of it myself now it’s protected on both sides. No problem opening door etc. I don’t have carpeting so that might make a difference. Came right on time and exactly like the pics. Would recommend.

Best on the market
These work rather well, but they are more effective at stopping drafts and critters than sound. I would say it reduces sound from beneath a door by about 25% or so.Installation is easy as pie. Just requires a knife of some sort to cut the foam to length and a tape measure. The instructions are easy to follow and it’s a great fit. Definitely measure your door before purchase to make sure you get the right fit.

Perfect
Works exactly as intended – blocks light from under the door, stays put, not noisy on wood floors.

This draft stopper works great! Easy to size for any door. Simply cut to fit and then slide on. Works perfectly.

Not Up To Par
This door stopper worked well for awhile. I liked that it blocked both sides of the door. However it kept getting caught when I tried to close the door and eventually the styrofoam inside broke. I can only push it up against the one side of the door now. Not worth it!

Easy assembly and works well!
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and it’s definitely helped keep the draft out that comes from our non-insulated basement. It was so easy to put together, took me less than 5 minutes. I took a piece of it out to show in the video how the foam slides right in. You can also place it so string on the end is on the other side of the door, which is actually where I had it before. It moves seamlessly under the door.It covers the gap completely and personally I really like the look of the white. We’ll see how it holds up over time but for the last few weeks it’s been pretty durable. I would definitely recommend!

Makes noise; looks crappy
Pros:-Large diameter foam inserts compared to other similar items-Came with lots of accessories such as tape for connecting foam parts together and attaching to door (not that I wanted to do that)-Bright white color matches standard white trim wellCons:-Very low quality, thin, nylon material-Looks crappy-Makes noise as it slides on a hard surface-Gap between foam (the material that connects under the door) is too wide and leaves a gap to whichever side of the door was getting pulled. Yes you can attach it with stickers and velcro, but the whole point of this style is not to have to stick something to the door. See pic for example.I bought 4 different door bottom gap stoppers. This one was by far the cheapest quality, but also the cheapest price. The simple fact that it left a gap to whichever side of the door was in the opposite direction of the last movement means it can’t perform it’s most basic function. The color was good, but the material looks pretty bad. It came with lots of stickers etc but I don’t want to have to stick something to the door. The foam inserts themselves were large which was nice, but I’d prefer to spend a little more and go with a better quality product.FWIW, of the 4 different ones I bought, I ended up going with the GDHOMM angled style as the best functioning and best looking (even though the color was more of a cream than a white). See pic for side-by-side comparison of Maxtiq, Amugret, SavEase, and GDHOMM.

Terrible quality. Looks nothing like the pictures. It looks horrible!

It does what its supposed to do. Kind of hard to put under the door if your door is close to your floor. Too expensive and not a recommended buy. Not fit for all doors, make sure you correctly measure your door before purchasing.
